## Description

Size: 2.25″Weight: 0.10 ozAction: Top Water, Slow SinkingDive Depth: 0-2 ft Small Crankbait: This amazing lure gained its popularity from the SMALL PROFILE and amazing action it encompasses. No other small crankbait has this great combination of GREAT CASTING DISTANCE, PHENOMENAL SWIMMING ACTION, IMPRESSIVE MANEUVERABILITY, and REAL LIFE LIKE DESIGN. Originally made specifically for trout and smaller pan fish, anglers soon found out that there isn’t a fish that this lure will not catch. One of the great features of its design is that it works great in high current situations like Rivers, Streams, and Creeks, but also in non-current situations like Lakes, Reservoirs, and Ponds. You will be amazed at the response you will get from the action you feel in your rod tip when swimming this small lure.

Review: Great lures for great price - I've been using these lures in rivers, mainly offset areas where it gets shallower and there's a bunch of cover. I've only used them so far on 6lb mono on medium action rod. Most importantly they do catch fish as shown by the pictures below. I was using a silver/blue version and hitting bass pretty consistently but the glimmer trout also works well. I managed to get a bite on my first cast of the day (always a bonus) and hit the trifecta of largemouth, smallmouth and pike (major species in my area) in one day. Pros: 1. Cheap, much cheaper than Rapalas. 2. American company, based in CO. I ordered directly from their website and accidentally had my shipping information wrong. I got it resolved very quickly and professionally. 3. Easy to cast, they're only 1/10 oz but they cast very well. 4. Great action. I can feel the swimming action on the tip of my rod. Make sure you use medium/light or ultralight gear. Very sporadic if you're twitching and great swim action on a steady retrieve. 5. Quality build. I've smacked these against rocks and cement and ripped them through weeds without an issue. I haven't noticed any wear on the paintjob at all. Cons: 1. Not a major con but double treble hooks means that they aren't very weedless (as expected). But you can easily remove hooks. I'll have to test the action of them without the front treble. Also they really mess up fish sometimes, as well as when I try to net the fish. 2. Also as mentioned in one of the other reviews, but the front hook often gets caught in the line. Maybe every 1 in 10 casts depending on the conditions. Messes up the swimming action and potentially misses fish. If you order from Dynamic Lures directly you can get a discount and they also sell a sample pack of 10 for $50 so for $5 a lure or less you can have a pretty good time catching stuff.
Review: Dynamics will catch trout - lots of them! - I've used Dynamic lures for several years now on trout streams all over Wisconsin. They catch a lot of trout - more than spinners or other crankbaits. They are especially effective when the water is high and murky. These lures have a wiggle unlike any other lure I've used. I have purchased at least 25 of these lures and caught so many trout on them it has literally knocked the paint off of them. Brown trout especially will crush them. I've caught trout from 7" to 21" on these lures. Besides trout, I've also caught smallmouth, walleye, and pike (mostly by accident) so there is something about these lures that attracts fish. I highly recommend these. Tips from my experience: 1) Tie these directly to your line, don't use a snap swivel. That dampens the action and is unnecessary. 2) If you fish near a lot of brush or rocks where the line gets nicked, cut the line a few feet above the lure and retie every hour or so while out on the water to avoid line breaks. 3) Cast as close to cover as possible. These lures can handle getting bounced off of logs/rocks/brush etc. I don't shy away from thick cover and I've abused these lures and they keep working. 4) Don't be afraid to cast into current or shallow water. The trout home in on them even when it seems impossible. 5) Also don't be afraid to use them in cold weather. Last spring I caught trout in an 8-degree blizzard. The one issue I've found is that on some casts the front hook will tangle with the line and then won't work until you reel the lure back in and untangle it. It's frustrating sometimes but I haven't found a way to avoid this with any lure except to have smooth casts. Oh also, my favorite two colors are "Trout Natural" and "Glimmer Trout". I use glimmer when the water is murky and natural when the water is clear. Buy some and give it a try!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ DEADLY For Trout
*by T***T on July 18, 2020*

I've used this for multiple months this spring into early summer in many different lakes that all had stocked rainbow trout. My preferred set up is to tie the lure directly on the fishing line and troll it at a slow to slow/medium speed. My trolling motor doesn't have a speedometer so I usually troll it at speed 2/5 to 3/5. I own multiple colors including the natural and black/gold. I found that the natural color catches much more fish. In lakes where I know the trout are boiling I can pull in a fish every 10-20 minutes. I've even used this in lakes where the fishing is slow and out of all of the gear trolled between 2 people, this lure caught more fish and sometimes was the only thing the fish were biting. This has even out fished rapalas, wedding ring type lures with bait, and even lines that were dropped on a downrigger. This is a surface action lure that only dives a couple feet but fish seem to come up for it. I've caught trout of all sizes on it but the average range is 10in-12in rainbow trout. Smaller fish have taken it but I believe the size of the fish is more dependent on your area. The rattle noise it gives off excites the fish and allows for more hits and it does have a nice wiggle motion. I think of this lure as a true trolling lure as that is how I typically use it but I have casted it a few times and found that it works well for casting. I was actually surprised and thought it wouldn't get out there too far but you are able to cast it a good distance. If you don't own any of these yet I recommend buying the natural color first to try even if it is a plan B or C. If the fish aren't biting much of anything else, this lure should get them to bite. I gave a 4 star rating (but really more like a 4.5 star) because of a small issue. The front treble gets caught on the line every once and awhile when letting out line trolling. When casting I found that this happens way more often especially if there's some current. When this happens the motion is completely ruined but fro trolling it happens so rarely that it is not much of a bother. To summarize: great lure, worth the buy, out fishes many other lures and encourages bites even on the slow days.
