Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Spider-Man Licensed Marvel, Super-Sized, Huge 8" Tall Spider-Man | Twist, Squish, and Stretch up to 3X its Size, Multicolor (41081)

It's a soft, stretchy Spider man Goo Jit Zu action figure... what's not to like? Well, there isn't a whole lot to not like. The obvious problem with this Large Spider man is that the red sections are just painted on, on top of the rubber or synthetic material that the whole figure is made of. I know from my son having a great deal of these Goo Jit Zu's that it only takes a few good stretches for the painted on sections to begin peeling and not long after that, depending how often it is played with, it will appear as tho nothing was painted on at all. Now I can't say for certain that this Goo Jit Zu will do the same thing, but it's not looking good. Other than that it came with the packaging still in good condition which to me is important because I am actually collecting this one and unlike my little boys Goo Jit Zu's it will remain in the packaging. Figure itself appears to be unscathed and in mint condition.

It’s a great toy! Looks great, good quality soft resin/silicone. Quite heavy.Be mindful buying it for smaller kids, cause it IS heavy )) and can be painful if kids start hitting each other with it.My son probably was stretching the heck out of this toy cause I noticed a gooey clear liquid started coming out of it. It is very sticky and will ruin the carpet and other furniture. For that reason, sadly, I had to throw the toy away.

In general this one seems more durable than the water /goo filled ones that we have had and pop so fast. I’m happy with that as this was my son’s one big birthday gift request. She’s had it about a day and while it seems strong against being popped, the blue paint is peeling off in large areas. That’s a little disappointing.

My son is a big fan of SML's Jeffy on YouTube. Recently they had a video where the characters were playing with a "stretchy spiderman". My son promptly interrupted my work to ask me for one. I told him "honey there is no such thing as a stretchy spiderman" and went along with my day. A few days later we were in Target and my son showed me this new toy. However at Target, the exact same toy was $29.99. I told my son we would look at Amazon when we got home.Amazon came in on the clutch with not only the exact same toy, but nearly $10 cheaper! I didn't hesitate to purchase it. My son loves it, the arms stretch quite a bit and he loves twisting it into different poses. Definitely happy with this purchase.

My grandson loves this toy, it stretches well and is durable since he throws it around and smacks it against the concrete in the backyard. He's taken it into the bath, smashes it and it has held up well. Can't really rate the feature on "warmth", should a rubber stretchy toy keep you warm? I don't even know why that is one of the criteria they want me to rate this toy on.
