Lupa Green Nacho Sliced Jalapenos 2.8 kg

I am a repeat buyer of these Jalapeños. They taste fresh and crunchy- not too crunchy but have a nice bite- NOT soft and mushy like some other brands! They are packed to the brim and are great value if you use a lot of jalapeño’s in your cooking. I know that it’s a big tin but I just decant into jam jars/mason jars with the brine that they come in - and they keep for months in the cupboard. They taste just as fresh 3/4/5 months later as they do when you first open them. Heat wise they are good - not hot but with a definite kick and a nice fresh chilli flavour. I love jalapeño’s and in my pretty wide experience these are among the best I’ve bought.

Sometimes the little things in life make you happy. Finding these is one such occasion. The simple Jalapeno is one of my favourite things to eat EVER. If you are like me and love Mexican food then I urge you to buy these straight away. You will know how much the small jars cost (whatever brand you buy) and if you eat them as frequently as I do they don't last very long. This tin is gobsmacking value for money. Chilli, Tacos, Nachos, Pizza, they go with a lot of food in my house. So I stumbled across them by chance during my nightly search of things to buy on Amazon:) The Jalapenos are probably the best I have ever bought (and I've tried a lot). They have the perfect amount of bite, not too soft not too crunchy. The right amount of sweet and sour and are probably a 7 or 8 out of 10 in heat and the best thing about this tin......there's a awful lot of them!!! I'm counting down the days until I can order again.

I was quite amazed at how many Jalapenos were inside this tin. I filled up a huge mason jar, and I had enough to fill another medium-size mason jar also! The taste is really good, and they still have a nice crunch to them. Never buy Jalapenos from supermarkets again guys honestly, just buy this tin of Jalapenos you won't regret it!. There are enough Jalapenos to keep me going for a few months, and I am a chilli monster, I put them everything. I will be buying these again when my first tin runs out.

Usually buy these albeit another brand from Makro but due to current circumstances trying to limit journeys.Not as hot is taste as the brand I am used to.Still tasty as I put these on virtually everything, especially yummy with melted cheese.Price and quantity is still a bargain.

This massive tin filled a few jars! And they really do taste amazing. Crisp and crunchy, full of flavour, and with nothing odd added into the tin (such as onion, as I found in my last supermarket purchase). Just authentic, unadulterated, brined green jalapeño peppers. They have a nice kick to them too. There's the odd jalapeño slice which has a red tinge to it from beginning to ripen but I didn't find any truly red jalapeños in the tin.I ate a fair few whilst I was transferring them to jars (to refrigerate) which was a bonus. There's so many slices crammed into the tin that I struggled to cover each jar with enough of the brine from the tin. Don't expect these peppers to be swimming in liquid, they aren't. You get a massive amount of chilli slices and minimal brine solution.Another bonus is the huge tin you're left with. It's coated inside so it will make a decent plant pot when it's had a couple of holes stamped into the bottom and been painted!A complete bargain if you ask me, which I think a lot of people will struggle to work their way through quickly. Even for those of us who love jalapeños!

These are the best ever. Crunchy and fresh without any unnecessary added flavourings.The content will fill 7 to 8 large jars easily and if you heat up the brine and pour over the chillies in the jars, I have found they will vacuum seal again to keep them stored for longer in the cupboard.Great value for money.I now order monthly as love them with most meals.I am on a keto diet, which can be pretty bland. But not anymore.

It’s great value, and kind of crunchy too. The spice level is so-so, maybe 5-6 on a scale of 10.HOWEVER it has a bitter side flavour that is really not nice at all. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or something. This is definitely the worse jalapeño I’ve ever had in my opinion down to the bitterness. Also the stems are left on the jalapeños to an extent I didn’t see before.The can was extremely difficult to open. It blunted my can opener. My husband says it requires some industry level can opener. No idea if this is true as I’ve never had an issue with my opener and had to cut this can open with a knife at the end and struggled for half an hour.Overall the delivery was fast, the product is not for me and good luck to anyone trying to open it.

I was getting pretty annoyed with the online shopping always being out of stock of jalapenos. I use them regularly, so I thought I would buy these. I didn't realise quite how many I was going to get.I foolishly went to the local collection point to pick these up... on my pushbike. My rucksack was at breaking point, but it just about hung on.Once home, I decanted the peppers in to multiple glass jars that my wife had kept around for jam (God bless her!)Now I'm like the jalapeno version of Benjamin Buford Blue.I fry them, I put them in salad, I put them on pizza, with potatoes, in shop-bought chilli, with Mexican rice etc. etc.All this whilst being tasty and offering health benefits. Incredible.
