Absolute best pencil sharpener ever.
I don't think there's a hand sharpener available that does a better job than this one. It makes perfect points to draw with, and you can choose a little more blunt or delicately sharp. You can use this to sharpen leads from a lead holder to perfect points and this does a far better job than the messy Staedtler Barrel sharpener. It comes with replacement blades which are so easily swapped out.The downsides of this sharpener is the plastic hinged door wears out over time and eventually breaks. I have taped them down in the past. It does last pretty long, I'm talking a year or two with near daily use, and the door can certainly be replaced, but I have not been able to source replacement doors, and it's just cheaper and convenient to purchase a new sharpener. One other extremely nominal bit of feedback to give is I miss the old matchbox style case for it. I have been reusing the older case for years since they changed it.

By Far The Best
These are the best handheld sharpeners I’ve ever found!!! Very sharp. Has two holes - one to slice through the wood and one to further sharpen the tip to a very fine point. There is a tiny hole on the side that is for mechanical pencil lead, I think. Comes with extra blades to replace worn blades.

Quality Product
I purchased this item based on suggestions from several acquaintances. There is not much to say other than the product is excellent, one of the best pencil sharpeners I have ever used. The two sharpeners are perfect for crafting the pencil exactly how you want. I have yet to use the mechanical pencil lead sharpener, but I do not use mechanical pencils, so that will probably stay unused. The device works great and I suggest it to anyone, it is cheap and well put together.

End-game pencil sharpener.
This is the best pencil sharpener I have used. Puts a great point on any pencil but really lets the high quality ones shine.

Works great for a while
This sharpener makes a great long point on every pencil I've used it on. The original blades usually last me about six weeks. The replacements extend the life a couple more weeks. After that, the sharpener quickly becomes ineffective for two reasons. First, the lid will sooner or later break off at the hinge. It's just going to happen. Second, the fit of the replacement blades gets slightly off (maybe the plastic around the screws weakens and breaks), which makes it much harder to use the sharpener. At that point, it's time to get a new one. Buying more replacement blades is a waste.Bottom line: if you're OK with buying a new one every couple of months, this is a great sharpener for people who like a long, sharp point.

I absolutely love it! After watching Youtube reviews and reading reviews
I absolutely love it! After watching Youtube reviews and reading reviews, I decided to purchase 2. I am definitely happy with the purchase. I only spent a little over $8 each, and I have spent WELL OVER the 17 total for two on buying sharpener after sharpener to try to get a decent point. If you are using pencils for art, these are especially great. The #1 side sharpens the wood off from around the lead, and the #2 side sharpens just the lead. I've seen reviews where people mention that it makes a great sharpener for "two different sizes" but that is not the point of this sharpener. (No pun intended, but enjoyed!) I've also seen a review where the person asked when to know when to stop turning the pencil, I think, on the wood side. So FYI to those who want to know, if you look in the sharpener and see where it says "STOP", that is how far you can let the pencil sharpen to until the lead hits that ledge. But you don't have to if you don't want to - you will still get a sharp point when you use the #2 side to sharpen the lead. I generally sharpen almost to the stop point on the wood and then sharpen on the lead side until I feel it starting to sharpen the wood on that side. I want #2 blade saved for the leads only.Just a side note, of course I tried this on my "cheaper" colored pencils first, before sharpening my more expensive ones. I used Crayola pencils as my cheap ones (they are cheap) and I didn't expect the wood to be as smooth as it is, but this sharpener sharpened the wood very smoothly with no catches. Then I tried it on my Prismacolor Col-Erase pencils, which tend to have wood that catches in a sharpener, and even those sharpened smoothly on the wood! You have to be gentle when sharpening the lead of them, but it performed fine on that as well. Then on to my actual art pencils of wax and oil, and these sharpened beautifully! All in all, I believe this to be a wonderful sharpener and well worth the cost, which, mind you, includes the additional two lead point sharpeners and the 2 extra blades - for a total of 4 sharpening areas and 2 extra blades for the main sharpeners. As long as you understand how to use this great sharpener, it is awesome! And if you don't understand, just look it up on Youtube.(I do understand any anger some people might have over getting a lemon, but that chance happens with any product you get, unfortunately, like the Derwent battery operated sharpener I got because other people told me it was good. Mine was not. I should have returned it and didn't. That is on me.)
