I really like these clear placemats. I did receive one that was cracked - but I put them on my new wood table so it really doesn't show. They look real nice and make it easy to keep the unfinished top clean. I have grandkids that sit at that table (in the kitchen) to do homework, so I don't have to worry about them accidentally coloring my table top!! I will say that the packaging is strange. When I received them it says to peel off the covering - I thought they were all discolored - but once I figured out to take the covering off of both sides of each placemat, I was pleasantly surprised at how they look.

Love the look of these placemats on top of my tablecloth. Disappointed in that these were described as rigid, when they are flexible. Also described as .2 inches thick, and all four placemats together might reach that thickness. I'm concerned about reports by others of scratching and cracking, but have only had these a few days do have not yet had any problems.

These work nice for on our dining table. The table it self has a glass top to protect the wood and I wanted something to put under the plates that would still show the wood of the table. They do slid around a bit and are a little tricky to clean.

I do like the look of these placemats. They let the wood of my table show!! But, they do scratch and I find that I have to wash with warm, almost hot, sudsy water to get them clean. Of course, that was after grandkids used them! I will be anxious to see how they last and look over time.

Been using these for years. Seem to get thinner every time I order them. That said, I love using these placemats because I love fabric and and use all my many tablecloths without worry.

For the price I paid, I do not like these placemats at all. They are extremely thin, flimsy, and poor quality. I put a cup of tea on them and they are already buckling and don't lie flat on the table! I don't understand why they are marked Amazon's choice. I just placed an order for the Miles Kimball placemats. I hope they are better. I ordered them years ago and they were much thicker and sturdier.

These were a good choice but we needed to add some disks on the corners so they did not slide. They do scratch easily.
