This is a unique and effective toner. It came in a branded box with ingredients/instructions in both Korean and English, suitable for gifting. There was a stopper in the bottle to keep it sealed. The bottle itself is a very thick PET plastic, solid enough that it almost feels like glass. The manufacturing date was within a year of receipt, and the expiration date was over 2 years out.I would say the description of the texture being "between a toner and essence" is very accurate. It's a bit thicker than a typical toner with a slightly silky texture. It's easy to apply either directly or with a cotton toner pad. There is a very slight ginger aroma, but mainly a light, natural herbal/floral scent. Color-wise, there is a slight warm tint, but not the golden shade shown in some of the images.It absorbs easily and quickly into the skin. There is no sticky or tacky feeling at all, and I would say it has a slightly astringent/mattifying finish on my normal, generally non-sensitive skin. It does leave my face feeling soft, refreshed, and primed for the rest of my routine.I recently learned that peptides have a very firming/hydrating effect on my skin, so I'm looking forward to the longer term effects of the 11 peptide blend combined with the 86% ginger water base. I also love the inclusion of natural plant extracts and ingredients I already know my skin responds well to like hyaluronic acid, B5, allantoin, and vitamin E.Overall, I'm happy with the immediate/short term effects of this toner and intrigued by the long term potential of this set of ingredients.

This toner is very hydrating and refreshing. The texture is lightweight, almost like a watery essence, and it absorbs quickly without feeling greasy or sticky. My skin feels plump and smooth after using it, and over time, I’ve noticed it looks a bit firmer and more even. The ginger water gives it a nice, subtle warmth, but it’s still gentle on my skin. It layers well with other skincare products and works great under moisturizer. Definitely a good pick if you want hydration with some added anti-aging benefits.

This is a decent toner. I’ve noticed it leaves my face feeling a bit sticky though unlike my other. Smell is nice and light.

Plenty good toner so far... need to use more times to see how it does long term, but the scent is nice and it's light weight.

I can see why the brand is calling this product “essence toner”. I’d probably throw in “serum” also. Viscosity is slightly thicker than water, absorbs into skin fast but doesn’t completely disappear in it. I used my fingertips to apply, as to not waste any of the liquid. My skin felt plump and supple afterwards, so I feel that this one product can likely replace a couple of skincare regimen steps. Lightly scented, very pleasant and not overly herbal. Ingredients did not disappoint, either: niacinamide, plenty of humectants (glycerin, panthenol, propanediol, sodium hyaluronate), adenosine, multiple plant extracts – and several peptides, to boot. I enjoyed this very much.

This essence toner is very lightweight and hydrating to my skin. It absorbs nicely, feels gentle, and does not smell like ginger. It does have a very mild scent. My skin looks and feels great. I can't comment just yet regarding the anti-wrinkle, but hoping it does reduce my forehead ones. The bottle is good size and I think this will last me a while. It didn't irritate my skin either. So far, my experience has been positive.

Great quality toner. Nice scent and lightweight. Good size bottle for the price.
