I went to Home Depot to get one of these and all they had was the Milwaukee version for nearly $200. I thought to myself let me check Amazon and I’m glad I did. This scraper did exactly what I needed to and didn’t miss a beat.I was using it to scrape decades of paint and some sort of mortar or topcoat from some concrete that I need to refinish.It served me very well at a fraction of the cost of the big box store.

I replaced 600 sq ft of tile with laminate and could not have done it without this tool. Removing tile was easy, removing the thinset from my subfloor was extremely difficult. I bought this tool just to remove the thinset and it worked very well. Keep in mind the dust gets really bad. I held a shop vac up to the end while using it and that worked surprisingly well. I also wrote a respirator the entire time I used this. No problems with the bolts loosening up like others reported, but I suppose you could use some loctite if that was a problem.

Used this to remove about 1200 sq ft of tile. Attached easily to my hammer drill. Would definitely recommend

blade cracked after about 1/2 hours work at one of the bolt holes . all i was doing wasscraping thinset off of a block wall

This tool is simply amazing. I tore through old hard thinset like it was butter.

Removed vct easily from the floor. It’s not as wide as a manual floor scrapper, but removes tiles in a reaction of the time. This is my go to tool for VCT tile removal. I had to replace the bolts after first time using due to them loosening and the vibration removing the threads from bolts.

I used this for about 50 sq ft of linoleum and thinset removal and the bolts constantly came loose and had to tighten them at least every 10 minutes of use. Adding Loctite helped but not for long. After a while then a chunk of the bit broke out around one of the bolts rendering it completely useless. Don't buy this.
