I knit a lot and ChaioGoo are my favorite circular needles. Sturdy, but flexible enough so that they don't "kink" or become difficult to use. I also love that if a needle ever detaches from the cord, they'll replace it for free.

Knit is nice and smooth. Great for small items. using for baby hats. Will buy more sizes.

I use the smaller circular needle when I’m making hats to allow me to use circular needle longer before changing to DPNs. These were easy to use.

I don't really like knitting sleeves, because by the time you have the body knitted you just want to be done. I don't really like knitting small circumferences, but if one is going to have sleeves knit seamlessly, then there is no getting around it. I like seaming less than I like small circumference knitting. I sound like a very negative person, I'm not really; I'm on the last two inches of the second sleeve of a sweater, and I have another sweater with one sleeve waiting. I have tried magic loop and was not charmed by the technique. I can and will do double points, but they can be quite fiddly; you have 8 points sticking out of your knitting. So i have settled on short circular needles. To get the circle to form the tips have to be short and at an angle. These are the best I have found so far. The tip is 2.25 inches to the bend which is at a 40 degree angle. I am slowly collecting these needles in the sizes I most commonly use. Now back to that sleeve.

My knitting style keeps the yarn close to the point of the needles, so I appreciate a well-pointed style that's also strong and smooth. I have been frustrated by circular needles that have broken at the connection between the plastic and metal or wooden parts, or have been too broad at the tips considering my style. Too, I most often create with more than one yarn, which makes strength, durability, good points that don't split the yarns, and a join that isn't rough, necessary. I tried ChiaGoo needles a few years ago, and fell in love with their quality. I have never had a set come apart because the join between the metal and plastic-covered wire is so complete. The tips are smooth and have aided my speed. They're easy to hold. And the price is reasonable. I will never buy any other kind unless I just can't find ChiaGoos on the market. These are excellent knitting needles for my style.

Makes Toddler caps easier to knit

I'm currently making various newborn woolies to use with cloth diapers. I'm practiced with both DPNs and using two circulars at once. I wanted to try short circs to see if it makes things quicker. It's definitely faster than two circulars (and probably Magic Loop, though that's not my thing). No fiddling around with where the stitches are. I can't say it's superior to DPNs, but at least I can keep my brain in low gear and not have to do math to figure out how many stitches I need on a needle. There *is* a bit of hand pain sometimes using these, but I'm fairly sure I'd have that problem with any brand. They're not fiddly to use like the very short 9" circulars are, even with my big hands.

I bought this short cabled set of circulars to use for knitting sweater sleeves on a top-down adult sweater.I switched to them at the point where the decreases began. They were perfect! Someone recommended that using a relaxed grasp on short circular needles makes them very comfortable to use. I love how the stitches slide easily for this small circumference. Excellent quality. I would definitely purchase this brand again.

I got very tired of fighting with double points for sleeves. Bought these and they work like a dream!

Flexible cord with smooth join. Perfect tip for picking up wraps when you turn a heel. In between sock rockets and wood so far as slipperiness.
