Just as effective and much more reasonably priced than Prevacid. Haven't seen any new side effects; but still have some gas from the neutralization process (same as Prevacid); but I am taking one capsule daily as instructed by the Surgeon who operated on my perforated ulcer 6 years ago. I haven't had 1 incidence of indigestion since I began taking Lansoprazole.

It seems really effective for preventing acid/gastric reflux, for me working even the same day though the description indicates it can take longer to work. It works so well that I become inclined to want to continue taking it longer than the 14 days directed. I worry some about potential side effects, perhaps long term, so I try to use it for the short period recommended then try something else for awhile before resuming usage.

This item is lansoprazole which is the generic name for Prevacid. This is just as effective against acid reflux as the brand name Prevacid medication for far less money; at least $10 less per box than a major nationwide chain I used to purchase it from. I highly recommend this product. Give it a try, you have nothing to loose except your reflux/indigestion.

I always look for generic brands of well-known products. This one meets my expectations and is quite affordable, too.

If you have mild to moderate acid reflux, this is a great buy, However, it's not quite working when I have more severe episodes, Guess I need to keep the name-brand on hand for those times. But for everyday maintenance, a great buy,
