I'm asking a lot!
We've used Tenacious Tape for things before (burn holes in my Nano-Puff, etc), but this pack was bought with a specific purchase in mind. Our tent ripped out at the bottom edge, along a stake-out tab, because we were too dumb to guy out in the wind. It was a very nice REI Kingdom 6 that had only been used a handful of times, and we weren't willing to give up on that hefty price tag without a fight. I used lots of strategic strips of Tenacious Tape to kind of shore up the damage, and in the end it is working well. It's not adhered quite as well as I'd prefer, but it is under tremendous tension from all different angles. I think it's going to hold up, even though it is such a tall order.Tenacious Tape is amazing, and I truly think that any failures here are just going to be because we're taking it beyond it's limitations. I figure I'll just keep adding more as the years go by and we should be fine! For the record, we also bent the hell out of a few poles that night, but got some AWESOME replacements from Tent Pole Technologies. They're tent-pole wizards. Their website wasn't really easy for me to navigate, but one phone call and we were set up.New (much more stylish) Kingdom 6 is still going strong, a few trips in. Woot Woot!

Very sticky
Works great for mending canvas on a popup

Not a very ample amount for the dollar. 2 rolls didn't go very far.
Too early to tell as far as longevity goes. Seems to adhere well to outdoor chair fabric

Great for patching a tent.
I used this tape to fix some rather large holes (1-2ft) in an old tent rain fly. It worked pretty well. It didn’t fully fix those big holes, but it helped a lot. It completely cured smaller (2-4inch) holes. It is a great product to fix an existing tent or to just throw in a bag for the future.

This got the job done!
I have an older car, and the upholstery on the driver's side was coming apart at the seams. To do the repair, I used an upholstery repair kit to sew the rips shut. Then I used the tape over the sew job, and in places where I needed to, I sewed the tape to the upholstery to secure it.Then, because I could not stand the sight of the patchwork and because I was afraid it would come apart during use, I got seat covers to protect the job and make my car look decent.I could not have done the job without this tape. It is worth it!

Easy to use!
I am so happy we got this! After about 6 years of having this 3 person tent - from college with way too many friends stacked in it, to now with my husband & dog - it started to show some wear with the holes in the rain fly. This is easy to keep in our camp box & throw on it when we notice a hole, it doesn’t take but about a minute to put on. Happy with it!

Didn’t hold up in wash.
I got this product to cover a tear in some rip stop fishing pants. Initially it held up the first time I wore them to work in. When I washed the pants, the tape released itself and stuck to all my other clothes. I’ve just scraped the pants.

Works much better than duct tape
Sticks very well to synthetic fabric and is still flexible - seems like it will last a long time.

does exactly what it's supposed to. Cut it to size, stick it on, you're done!

Solid Tap
I ripped my Tent, which was quite a large gash, when the fabric got stuck to the pole. When I retracted it, it was pinched and then made a huge hole. I was able mend it well with the tape.

Pricey but effective
I mainly use this thin sticky ripstop nylon tape for pockets gone wrong, but I can see other uses for tents or other outdoor gear. But....pricey

Sticks like s*** to a blanket
Amazing product. Sticks well to most fabrics. I have a patch of it on a hat made of Schoeller fabric. It has been on it for almost 2 years and has been through multiple launderings. A must have in your rucksacks possibles pouch.
