Master Mark Plastics 95340 Terrace Board Landscape Edging Coil, 5-inch x 40-Foot, Brown (Pack of 4)

I used this product to corral wood mulch raised beds for planting various berry and grape varieties, including strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, haskaps, and Concord grapes.Three of these stitched together with a single centered bolt 3 inches from the end (so a 6" overlap) creates a 3-ft wide row that is about 57 ft long. Mulch fills and supports the inside while a wedge of dirt up to the top of the terrace board supports the outside and leaves a straight, waterproof border ideal for soaking the row of plants while leaving intervening paths dry. The supplied stakes were helpful with installation although running a shallow trench in which to place the terrace board vertically was necessary to maintain the desired mulch depth--two inches deep for a 3" mulch bed for strawberries, one inch deep gives a 4" deep mulch bed for haskaps and grapes, and just scratching the surface for 5" deep mulch for raspberries and blackberries. The outer berm of dirt sets up nicely once it gets wet.

This product is terrible. It is not a good product to be used for edging. It is rigid at purchase but becomes very flimsy when installed after sun hits for a few days. It just lays over like wet cardboard after a couple weeks. You also need 10X the amount of stakes than provided but still is very flimsy.

Haven’t used yet, but these are thick and look great!
