Worth it
This device is a bit pricey, but it's been well worth the peace of mind for me. I live in a high radon region, with a lower ground floor, and I used to feel anxious about the potential health implications. But the data from this device has shown the levels to be within the recommended limit. And I can keep on eye on the levels and improve ventilation when needed.

excellent.
excellent. I wish the data was exportable in csv so we can create reports .

Great
Had problems with Radontests showed very high 300 plus. This was great as it showed it just occasionally spiked and 99% of the time it was at a safe level

Not reliable
These products are a complete sham they loose data constantly and cant be relied on. The app also requires your location to work and not blue tooth. I've contacted customer support multiple times and they are not helpful. I own three of these and may not be able to get my money back but these are just not reliable.

A very good product
I bought this product as a warehouse deal on Amazon.de , It was supposed to be the Wave Plus which has additional sensors for CO2,volatile Gases and I think Air Pressure but due to a mixup an Airthings wave was delivered. Disappointing but the real reason for buying this is to measure the radioactive Radon gas. I set this up on the 4th of April and its now saturday morning on the 9th.The graph is from Home Assistant which I have running on a Raspberry PI4 and I have added 2 integrations to read the device. One reads the data sent from the Airthings App on my iPhone to Airthings to the web dashboard, the other reads the device directly from the Bluetooth Low Energy (ble) signal. The direct method updates every couple of minutes and isn't shared to Airthings, the official App reads and updates about once an hour.BLE is a bit different from regular bluetooth in that it doesn't need to pair, the device basically advertises its values and suitable software can turn it into human readable figures. You don't need anything more than the device and a smart phone to get valuable data from it.Having it as sensors in home assistant means I can add my own automations sending alerts maybe turning on and off the Radon pump ect. It also means data is always available while on my phone i could be out of the house and updates will be delayed till i return home.Lets talk about the graph my home has a radon pump that was installed probably in the 1980's and it hasn't run in years, my neighbors also have these pumps and nobody runs them which is kind of understandable the pump uses about 100 watts so 2.4 KW a day running 24/7 that's quite a lot over a year. When you can't see smell or notice the Radon it's easy to ignore. Now the first figure I got from the meter was 600 BQ/M3 and its not been that high since it pretty much averaged out to about 400 BQ/M3 to be fair the device is calibrating and needs a week to achieve 10% accuracy and 30 days to achieve 5% accuracy. Even so with a good value being below 100 and fair up to 150 BQ i was clearly at unsafe levels. On Thursday I decided to turn on the Pump but the isolation switch was faulty so I replaced it. I also opened all the windows to air the place out for a few hours. The graph clearly shows the effect of that. After a few hours i shut the windows to keep the heat in but the Radon pump has continued to run so from Thursday I managed to lower the levels to below 150 BQ/M3 and this morning just before 8am the reading was 98 BQ/M3 the next was 105 BQ/M3.So by using this meter i have been able to lower the levels from 400 to around 100 in just a couple of days and proved that the Radon pump is effective in reducing the levels. The next stage will be to make this cheaper to run. I don't think this needs to run 24/7.In Ireland there is talk of compulsory peak time charging (5pm to 7pm).During this time wholesale electricity costs are a lot more expensive as peaking plants come online to cope with demand typically those 2 hours are the same price as 10 hours of normal demand. Even around a 10% reduction in peak demand would lower the price significantly and reduce the use of Russian gas, it will probably take the introduction of Peak Tarif charging to make most people cut back and see a difference in electricity bills but doing it now would help your electricity provider cut wholesale cost and reduce the payments going to Russia and maybe bring this murderous war to an end sooner.Anyways the wave meter is very good and will help protect your families health I hope this helps

I wouldn't, go for a brand that fully works
The main good thing about this product is that it does measure the humidity, radon level, and temperature. Everything else isn't great. The only way to connect to it is via Bluetooth and is it so clunky and broken. It can take like 3 tries/20 minutes each time I want to get readings from it, and then if it does it often has a few hours lad. It really needs working in, it's very frustrating. For the price you would except to be able to quickly connect and load information...I'd reccomend going for a different brand, making it work shouldnt be that difficult and annoying.
