Real non-magnetic Stainless!
Quality and true non-magnetic stainless steel. Tight fitting threads and better than the zinc plated steel ones from my local hardware store.

These are pretty and well made. Wish seller could state any standards these meet.
I've been in construction and rigging within Alaskan seafood processing my entire career; factory ships and shore plants. Rigging, lashing and handling heavy loads is woven into those industries. These 304 "D" links are very well polished, although 304 stainless will both tarnish and rust when used in salt water applications. A "304-L" rating would have signified low carbon material which would be more applicable for salt water use. Seller doesn't comment on corrosion so my comment about rust is FIY. My real issue with these is how the threads are cut where the barrel nut connects to the male threads, and thereby completing the 360 degree shape. The barrel nut screws very easy onto the oversize cut threads, which to me is a slightly negative issue, as proper thread engagement is relied upon for heavy load rigging. I didn't see any load rating given, or any regulatory agency's standards being satisfied. That aside, these D-Links are beautiful and well made. I'm very happy to have found them, and available at such a reasonable price. The material itself being 5/16", and their overall look suggests these are sure to be trustworthy for general recreational or light shop use. Normally, shackles with load rating would be used in important applications, like overnight anchoring or overhead rigging uses. D-links in smaller O.D. sizes (in my experience) are not normally trusted from a perspective of safety, even if regulatory designations are supplied.

Works as expected. Very useful and sturdy!
I bought these before going to camping. The quality is great and sturdy. Great addition to the camping gear. They come individually wrapped in plastic, which I really liked about the packaging. Perfect size and well made for the price.

Great product for the size!
I actually bought these for a pretty unique reason. I like having a stronger, yet lightweight way to attach my parachutes and recovery materials to my model rockets. Yes, just like the little ones you had when you were a kid, but much bigger and with a lot more fire coming out of the back (at least that's what you plan for!). Given the corrosive nature of the black powder and fast but very rapid heating that they would be exposed to, the zinc versions just get pitted and corroded way too easily, and are therefore unsafe. (rockets are safe... rockets are safe...) So stainless steel is a must. For the bigger rockets that I fly, the 1500 and 2000 lb SS304 Quicklinks work really well, but for the smaller rockets, these looked perfect. The rated strength of 260 lbs is perfectly fine for a 3 lb. rocket or so. The machining looks great on the threads and the operation of the safety lock nut is smooth and fluid. I've yet to use them but in building with them, I will say that the opening with the locknut all the way threaded back is quite narrow. you would not fit anything much more than about 4mm through the gap. Other than that, they appear to be great quality and the size is great for those low-load smaller applications!

Bird toy supplies
These were purchased for use with my CAG. I’m trying to may sure any items used in his cage or with his toys are free of zinc or cheap metals. These were the perfect size for what I needed.

good small chain climp
good quality but has a lip that is wider than the rest of clip at the threaded end of it so it is actually to big to good through a 3/16 hole even though it is an 1/8 clip
