The difference maker
This product is one of the few must-have items that we never let run out of stock in our kitchen. Especially for people who use a dishwasher that doesn't have a dedicated heated drying cycle, this product will be the difference maker between having sparkling clean dishes that shine, or dishes that come out with water spots and that murky, unappealing film of residue that annoys all of your family members and guests. We are now using this in our second Bosch dishwasher. Dishwasher alerts us when the rinse agent tank is low. We just pop the cover open, squeeze it directly out of this bottle, pop it shut, and we're set for the next two or so dozen cycles. This 16 ounce container from amazon will go a long way. The bottle claims 150 wash cycles out of one bottle. I haven't kept a full count, but this number sounds like it is likely accurate or very close to it.I chose a 5-star rating for this product because there are no noticeable downsides that I can see. It performs well (WAY better than a store-brand product we bought in bulk from a warehouse store in the past), it doesn't add much cost to the process (roughly $.04 per cycle), and it doesn't impart any kind of chemical smell or taste. The product says it is biodegradable and septic-safe. We have an infant at home and spoke to our pediatrician about the safety of this product when being used to wash his baby bottles and eating utensils, and the doctor said that it is fine to use.All in all, I highly recommend this product. The extra cost over a generic brand competitor is very minor, and the performance more than makes up for it.

Recommended by my dishwasher maker ...
.. Fisher & Paykel. Guess it works because my glassware and dinnerware is never spotted. Works for me, so guess I'd recommend it for others.

Finish Jet Dry Rinse Agent - 16 Ounce Liquid - Provides excellent results when used in our dishwasher
We purchased a new-to-us house about three years ago, and had new appliances installed in the kitchen; not our choice really - the prior owner took everything with them -- stove, 'fridge, dishwasher -- everything.Since my wife and I have been avid aquarists for about 20 years, we have all sorts of water testing gear and knew that the water flowing to this house was mineral laden and is considered fairly "hard" water. While our new dishwasher performs its job very well, occasional water spotting occurred so we decided to try out a few rinse aid products. After trying to or three, we were in agreement that the Finish Jet Dry Rinse Aid had consistently high performance and we decided to stick with it.So far this rinse aid has continued to meet our expectations, leaving our dishes, glasses and flatware nice and spot free at the end of the cycle. It seem easy to find the smaller bottles locally, but is much more economical to purchase the larger sizes here on Amazon (especially when qualifying for free shipping). If you are in a similar situation and are looking for a good liquid rinse agent, based on our experience with the product we recommend that you give Finish Jet Dry a try. Water conditions vary, and so does dishwasher performance, but his product has been good to us.Highly recommended

Game changer
I use this solution in my whirlpool dishwasher and it really change the way the dishes come out. It’s easy to use and a little goes a long way. I fill up the little dishwasher tank for it and it really is a long time before I have to do it again. The dishes come out dryer smell better and are with less streaks. I first bought this product in 2015 and I thought it regularly sense.

Liquid works. Bottle is difficult to pour.
The liquid is helping stop the white spots from forming after a wash however the bottle leaves something to be desired. The cap was already half-broken off when we received it and had completely broken off after the second use. We also are having some issues with pouring; it comes out too fast and ended up all over the place. But, as I said, the liquid itself works which is the important thing.

Shine Shine Shine
I bought this for my parents as they needed something better than what they were currently using. In fact they never had something like this and I thought this was just an "add-on" product that was advertised as useful but it isn't. In reality it is useful. The objective of this product is to make your glasses shiny and streak free.I honestly though I was going to waste my money. That is not the case. It makes dish-washing night and day. If you want your glasses and potentially other things like plates, forks, knives to shine better this is that product. It took me a while to pick it but is worth it and it lasts too. I was under the impression that maybe it would finish fast but not at all.I still have plenty of this bottle and I estimate since we are using the dishwasher everyday - this will finish in maybe 6 months? I use this with a combination of packets from Finish which come very cheap especially if you find coupons (which there is) every now and then. It makes it economical and ease to use when you stop using liquid detergent.

Works great, very happy with it.
I never used any type of rinse agent as I thought it was just one of those unnecessary items companies push for additional revenue. I would always have to wash the dishes in the heavy cycle to make sure everything was clean. Often the problem was the streaks left on the glasses after the cycle was complete. I would have to then wipe them individually to make sure they looked clean.I decided to try this rinse agent because of the reviews. I was blown away by the difference. All the streaks from the glasses are now gone. I even use the regular cycle, saving time and water. The only slight issue I have is pouring it into the rinse agent compartment in the dishwasher. If the nozzle of the bottle was a little longer it would make it much easier to pour it in. That being said, my dishwasher could have also made it a little easier to allow for the filling of the rinse agent. All in all I am very happy with this product despite not having tried any other brand.
