Lots of hats like this are sold, but if you wore one in the military, most seem to have too wide a brim.This one is great. Just the right size not to obstruct vision too much, but enough to give some protection from sun.I work a labor intensive job outside in all elements and picked this up to give me some more protection from sun than the ball cap the company provides.I have family members that have gotten skin cancer, so I try to protect myself.This is perfect for work, and luckily the boss approved it since there’s no logo.It’s light, comfortable, fits perfectly, and is easy to wash. I’ll definitely pick up at least another one, maybe 2.

Not a cheap piece of crap fall apart hat. I am getting several more in different colors. This is the boonie hat you have been looking for.

Product arrived very fast, packaged nice and safe and as described, great product fits well.Material seems thick and strong and I can not see it getting damaged easily at all.The only negative for me is that I dont like bright logo's on products (maybe just me). The hat is all black which I think anyone who picks black wants it all black but on the back right above the edge of the circle of the rim is a red patch sewd on that says RAPDOM. Its only 1/2 inch by 1 inch wide, not huge. That should be shown in the picture image on Amazon so we know that it is there because it defeats the purpose of an all black hat.I LOVE this hat, it is not a big deal but thats why I gave it 4 stars out of 5.I'll just take a small scissor and remove the logo.

This boonie cover seems softer and way more comfortable than the one I was issued back in the day. Looks good too.

I originally bought the XL based on my head measurements and the size chart. When I got it it was too big and I had to get the Large hat instead. So if your head is close to the boundary of two sizes, go with the smaller of the two.Otherwise it is a nice hat. I like it now that I got the correct size. There is a nice tag inside that gives you the impression that this is a military issue hat, then sewn right next to that one is another tag that says "Made in China". But the quality seems very good. While I've only had it a month, I think it will last a while.I don't know what else to say. It's a nice hat. It keeps my head out of the sun in hot weather. It keeps sun out of my eyes. Deflects light rain. Rolls up and packs very well. Best of all..It is unique among my circle of friends. So I get to be different.

Cozy

Just got the hat last week before a much anticipated weekend camping trip with my wife. Wore the hat all weekend long and it served me well. The fit was just right....snug to the head, but not to the point of giving me a headache. Just enough brim to keep the Sun out of my eyes while not restricting my eyesight looking up. The hat tends to run a bit warm on the head, but not too terribly bad. I'm used to wearing bandanas and the hat is a bit heavier than they are. Most likely it's just me and I need to acclimate to it. What I loved most is that it kept the tree pollen off my head. Everything...and I mean EVERYTHING was covered in pollen, including the hat, so I gave it a hand washing and put it out on the front porch to dry. This morning I went to get my hat and it was GONE! Seems my faithful four legged 'best friend' decided it was a MUCH better chew toy for him than a hat for me. Luckily the chin strap took the worst of it. I'm not much for chin straps so the decision to keep it or remove it was made for me. The brim has a couple spots where teeth met fabric, but it gives it a used feel and makes the hat look like it's seen more 'combat' than it really has. Over all I like the hat very much. Badger and I both give it five full stars!

He comprado varios colores y tallas, a excepción de un verde olivo que parece más grande de lo que indica la talla de la etiqueta, los demás (caqui, digital universal y woodland digital) encajan perfecto, la calidad del algodón es buena, y la hechura muy bien cuidada, la correa es un poco larga, pero puede guardarse al interior o acomodarse en la cinta de camuflaje. Es práctica, puede doblarse y guardarse, doblar el ala hacia arriba y sujetarla con la correa. Me han gustado mucho. Adquirí este ultimo boonie woodland digital porque me ha parecido un producto de muy buena calidad. éste no es la excepción. Esta tiene una etiqueta roja con la letra blanca que dice rapdom y la correa es más corta, mucho mejor, tiene diferencias en cuanto a su forma de los demás que he comprado, este woodland está hecho en china, parece de un algodón mas grueso, es excelente, creo que es de lo mejor en este tipo de sombreros.
