Gets the job done, quality OK.
I bought this cheap sleeving in kit in the hopes of individually sleeving my PSU cables for my latest build (MDPC-X style - google it). I am trying to be really fair in this review so please keep in mind that I bought this kit for a specific purpose. The Good:Cost effective. There is a decent amount of sleeving in this kit, although you will want to purchase several.Heatshrink. The included heathshrink is not bad - about the same quality as the stuff I picked up at Lowes. The Bad:The quality of this sleeving leaves MUCH to be desired. First of all, it isn't round but has been flattened. It kind of straightened out when on the wires, but looks different compared to the premium sleeving I found at a different site. It is also quite flammable - the special torch I was using for the heatshrink kept burning the sleeving, however the premium sleeving I purchased was not hurt in any way. This is also not entirely opaque! Even though I pulled it very tight when putting it on, it still shows some color through it. Not enough for me to remove it all and buy some more expensive stuff, but enough to irritate me.Bottom line: If you are using this for general usage, or you don't care about opacity in your sleeving, go ahead and purchase this kit. If you are specifically going for the sleek all-black look, and quality is important to you, then MOVE ON. Seriously - I didn't listen to reviews of other colors of this brand and I should have...learn from my $10 mistake. I

Decent sleeving product for budget builds
This kit provides much of what you will need to sleeve an entire power supply. Of course it may be used to sleeve anything, so its a decent kit for general purpose sleeving. This isn't the product you want for single sleeving projects, but for a standard power supply job it does fine. For me, I would want to get a bit more of the 1/8th inch sleeve. The quality is quite a bit better than the kind that comes with most PSU's these days. The heatshrink on the other hand is typical of most kits, its not very good. I don't throw it away necessarily but I don't use it in highly visible areas. Preferably I use heatshrink that is thin wall and at least a 3:1 ratio. This stuff is 2:1, and the quality isn't very high. But it is typical of the included stuff on most sleeving kits. For small jobs or budget sleeving, its a nice kit.

Decent Cable Sleeving Material
I mostly used the 1/8" sleeving to re-sleeve an old 20-pin ATX PSU cable, and sadly there was not enough for the entire project. As it was my first attempt with cable sleeving so I must admit I didn't even think about how much I would need or the correct diameter before the package arrived. From what I was able to complete, the sleeving worked like a charm. It does fray a bit when cut with scissors, but that was expected. You can kind of see yellow and red wires through the sleeving when in the light, which is kind of a bummer but overall it looks clean and nice after sleeving a few old cables and using a little bit of heat shrink tubing. I imagine once I put the PSU back in my older case you won't really be able to notice the brighter-colored wires through the sleeving. Decent product, decent price.

Bad.
Amazon doesn't like my review for some reason. Hmm...Pros:It works. Its cheapCons:It doesn't hold its shape wellIt burns easily.Easy to see through it, even when stretched outProvided heatshrink is...poor. And I'm being nice.I'm convinced that what I was sold was NOT "mod/smart" sleeving. I've seen people rate mod/smart's sleeving fairly well, and this was nowhere near the expected level of quality. If all you want is a product that you can use to cover wire so you can put on a check list that you've sleeved something, buy this. If you don't care about actually covering the wire, again, buy this. Its cheaper than MDPC (the German stuff) by a decent amount, and it will arrive faster. If you want a tight weave, plastic based sleeving for a good price, buy the German sleeving. Much, MUCH better quality. The heat shrink is great as well.If you want something cheap to go over a high gauge wire (no higher than about 14) buy paracord. I used paracord on my computer's power supply, and this on a set of headphones. The paracord does not expand much, but it is much easier to work with than what I believe to be fake mod/smart sleeving. German sleeving expands more, gets tighter, and stays put better than this stuff.

not exactly as described
it is a different brand.it is a different weaving method.it is different quality from the red ones I purchased from another seller, especially thin ones.I contacted the seller reporting I received products not as described. Communication did not go very smooth. I was not trying to return it because my project could not wait. But there is no one else selling black ones from mod/smart, so just live with it or buy different brands.

better than expected
i ordered expensive white wire sleeving from Germany and also bought this cheap black set for practice. for $10 you can't go wrong with this sleeving. the sleeving looks good and the heat shrink is alright, though it could be better quality. still waiting on the german sleeve to get here :-/ but this stuff arrived very quickly and got to try out my new cable tools and sleeve skills while waiting.

Not really worth it.
I love this stuff but in all honesty its not worth buying it here. You can purchase your desired size and length of sleeving for just a couple of cents for a better product and faster shipping from sites like www.frozencpu.com! Its a much better deal on their website!EDIT:Use Perforance-pcs.com instead of FrozenCpu.com. Frozen Cpu seems to be out of business...
