BEST WATER BOTTLE EVER SO GREATFUL FOR GOOD DESIGN
BEST WATER BOTTLE EVER, FINALLY.I have bought SO many water bottles, returned so many, and had so many malfunction or have their lids break. It seems like each one has different issues. This water bottle has the best design because it's so SIMPLE—and that’s the key with water bottle design, I’ve found. It also has the least plastic parts of any bottle out there. There’s only a small but easy-to-replace seal, and even the design of that is really, really good compared to others that easily collect and grow mold. I’m not sure if the seal is silicone, but I hope so—that would probably be ideal. They even send an extra replacement seal, which is a big deal in case the original one ever gets mold embedded in it (which can happen sometimes no matter how careful you are). That kind of detail just shows they actually thought things through. It’s also so light, even though it has insulation that actually keeps my water cold for 24 hours, easy. That’s a big deal, as most insulation makes bottles significantly heavier. The handle and lid are completely stainless steel, which is a huge deal because plastic lids just aren’t good. I’ve always found the screw-on cap to be the most foolproof, and the seal design is so good it never leaks if you screw it properly. The threads on the bottle are also really well designed—wide and easy to screw on properly.I really just want them to keep making larger sizes of these containers—all the way up to a half gallon, a gallon, even a 5-gallon version for trips. I also hope they innovate with square or rectangular fully stainless steel bottles to take in the car, to prevent them from rolling around and to improve packing efficiency, while keeping their 100% stainless steel ethos down to the carrying arm or handle.Good job with the matte finish on the exterior too—it keeps it from slipping from your hand. I honestly can’t say how grateful I am to have finally found the perfect water bottle... minus the fact that they don’t sell larger sizes for long whole-day hikes or car and camping trips.

Perfection!
Exactly what I've been looking for for months! I almost didn't order it since the Amazon site said "frequently returned" and thank God I didn't pay attention to that!I can't imagine why someone would return it.I've been using it the last three days and even if I have it completely upside down or thrown in a bag any which way, there are absolutely no leaks.I love the fact that the lid fits so well and that there is NO plastic touching the contents. They EVEN provide you with an extra O-ring.

No Plastic and Keeps Coffee Hot for Hours
Over the years I have replaced storage containers, small appliances, etc - opting for less toxic versions. I can't believe I never thought about my coffee. So I replaced my coffee maker with a pour over version and then looked for a thermos without plastic. The options were slim, but was happy I came across this thermos from a US company. Note that I am not using this insulated thermos for hiking or day trips, etc. I work from home and often forget about the coffee on my desk, and taking hours to drink it. I used it for the first time today and it not only kept my coffee warm - it kept it hot. Best thermos I ever owned.

Wish it had a drinking easy cap, too.
This bottle works and the material is not plastic... that is what I like. And I hope the manufacturer will reply to this: Do you sell a cap (or lid) that is convenient for drinking on the go?These are usually made of plastic, and although not stainless steel, it would make it possible for me to safely drink from your bottle while driving or bicycling. Please help !

Great water bottle
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great water bottle. Feels solid without being too heavy. There's something extra satisfying about how tight you can screw the lid, something nice about how the silicone seal squeezes I guess?Size:Skinnier and taller than most bottles of its volume which I find ideal for slipping into backpacks.

Good to boil water in
Bought two of these for my get-home bags because they hold a decent amount of water and being single wall, they can be used to boil water. Tested them out a few times at the house over a propane flame and a camp fire flame and they work great with no warping at all. Would recommend.

Cross-threads itself and becomes impossible to open
I bought two of these 1L bottles because I liked that they were plastic-free and I'm trying to avoid microplastics. I liked that they're 1L (most bottles are too small) and looked reasonably dishwasher-safe.NO. Bad idea. The first time I filled one of these bottles, the lid cross-threaded, and it became VERY hard to open. It took me over 2 hours, using tools and all my body weight, to get it open.Weird, I thought. Maybe that was a fluke. So I kept using them. They worked fine for a few hikes, and then it happened again. When I filled the bottle, I made absolutely sure the lid was not cross-threaded because I was afraid of this, and then when I went to open it it somehow cross-threaded itself and became immovably stuck. No amount of levers and vice grips get this thing open. On the hike, I was opening it carefully, because I was specifically afraid of this happening. I used only a TINY amount of force to try to open it, and somehow it froze itself and no worldly amount of force will open it.These bottles will fail you when you need them most. Avoid. If one of your friends has one of these bottles, I want you to yell angrily at them until they swap it out. These bottles are worse than useless, they make you think they'll work so you start to trust them, and then they fail. They hold your water in a way you cannot access it no matter what you do.

Sturdy and light weight
While mountain biking. I had a rough landing from a jump at about 20 mph. The bottle came out a backpack side pocket. It only got a small dent and doesn't leak.
