SoffeMen's Classic Cotton Pocket Short

I love these shorts! I use them for sleeping but I'm pretty much in them whenever I'm at home, would be good for working out too. I was always a Hanes guy, even owned Fruit of the Loom and BVD's in the past but these are by far the best and after owning these I dont think I could go back to other brands of this type of shorts. These days other like shorts are made a little thin or they get holes in them after awhile. These are really nice and soft made fairly thick and very comfortable with convenient pockets, best shorts I've ever had. I had purchased two pairs roughly about five years ago and only in the last year have I started to get holes (probably from ware in the wash over time). They are quality made and worth the money. So when my current shorts finally started to ware out I made sure to replace them with the exact same thing from the same seller. Now I will say this, I would recomend considering buying a size bigger as they seem like they do shrink a little in the wash after a few times though it might actually be from the dryer. I'm about 6ft 180lbs pretty lean and I'm wearing the 2XL which is the biggest and it fits great, comes to just above the knees and still feels nice and stretchy so it would comfortably fit a bigger person too. They also come in a few different colors for those who care but I really like the black. Five stars, HIGHLY recomended.

These are basic shorts with elastic waist and two side pockets, very comfortable to wear in and around the house. The fabric is 100% substantial cotton, not lightweight or flimsy at all, so they get softer with age and are naturally breathable, unlike those ones that are made of synthetic-fiber. Love them!

Great for lounging and being comfortable. Since they’re cotton I wouldn’t use them for working out. Mid-tier thickness and weight. Length is pretty long. No real complaints.

These are the best cotton shorts I have found. They almost rate more than five stars. My only gripe is the pockets could be deeper, as stuff has a tendency to fall out when you sit in the car, or on the sofa. They are very durable and comfortable. I wear these every day, for every activity. The elastic maintains it's strength, after countless washings. I can even put heavy items in my pockets and they don't end up down around my knees. The last 6 pair I bought are just now wearing out, but the pockets, elastic and stitching are still intact. Remember, I wear these EVERY DAY, for everything from doing construction work, automotive repairs, hiking, to watching TV (people don't think I own any pants). If they weren't so full of holes from the battery acid and snags I've put in them, I wouldn't be buying new ones. The length is just above the knee, so they don't get stuck on my knee caps while I'm sweating and pulled down when I squat (I usually have to hem other shorts I have bought). The inseam is cut high, so they also don't restrict movemt when you need to step up, or spread your legs to get over obstacles. Great product.

I have purchased these in the past--not sure if same vendor or not but this batch is NOT holding up-- the other ones lasted without issue for over a year or more-- this batch the fabric is not at all what it used to be- very very bad quality. Fabric has holes -- the fabric is just falling apart and causes holes in the shorts. I dont mean they are wearing out like in the seams but literally the fabric is just falling apart.Not same quality at all as the past. When I find something that works and lasts I try to get that item again when needed and these are not the same as my other past orders. Much much lesser quality. I wont get anymore, have to find a new brand.

These shorts are what I'd call medium-weight: heavier than the tshirt-like fabric I prefer in summer sleep shorts, but not heavyweight either. I wear them all the time at home in warmer weather, and find them very comfortable. I have several of these, and noticed that the most recent set are just a tad longer in the leg, which is great. They are all cotton (at least the grey and navy ones I have), and are well made, with good elastic inside the waistband (not exposed and scratchy).I've looked at and tried several different makes and styles, and at the end I strongly prefer these Soffe cotton shorts to all others.

As a rule, I don't have a lot of good luck with ordering clothes online, mostly because it is such a hit and miss thing with finding just the right fit. And I hate the hassle of returning things online, so most of the time, I will buy my clothes the old fashion way (buying retail at the good old mall). After reading a lot of good reviews about Soffe shorts, I decided to take a chance and order a pair. I am 5' 8" and weight 210 lbs. with almost all my extra weight being carried around my mid section. For my first pair, I ordered the olive green shorts (Large) and am happy to say that they fit very nicely around the waist and hit right at the middle of my knee, which is where I prefer. They have nice elastic around the waist, a nice drawstring, no fly, and fairly decent front pockets on each side. In a perfect world, the pockets could have been maybe a tad deeper but these aren't too bad at all. Deep enough to put your wallet or cell phone in it as long as you are not doing some major exercising. So I liked the green well enough to order a second pair in the Navy color and I am happy to say that I liked the Navy pair even better. Both are 100% cotton but the navy pair seems like it has a softer weave to it. I have also read reviews that the black color is very similar to the navy as far as feel and weave. These are very plain shorts with no logos or design but fit me perfectly and have a soft feel to them as well. I wouldn't categorize them as an overly plush cottony feel but comfortably soft enough. Very comfortable for around the yard and house.
