Love the Color
Just like my heading states, I love the aquamarine color of this eyeliner. I like to try different shades of eyeliner such as violet, blue and now this one. My eyes are blue so using different shades makes putting on makeup more fun. My only complaint, which I've had with all pencil liners I've used, is sometimes small pieces break off too easily. But since this happens with all my pencils I still gave it 5 stars.

Dry and old.
I bought this to replace the one that I have used for the past year, as it's not available in stores anymore. The one I had before was silky, went on very nice and was a pretty blue color, this new one is listed as the same name and color as the other one but they are completely different. The new one is a lighter color and really dry and crumbly, even the tips are completely different. I don't know if covergirl changed their formula or if these are just really old ones. Do not buy.

Color not accurate.
The first one I ordered was the exact color I wanted Aquamarine, when I reordered it the color said Aquamarine on the pencil but it’s not...it’s more Navy Blue. Very disappointed!

Brighten brown eyes with a bit of blue
I guess Im old school and like to match my eye liner to the shirt I am wearing so when I wear blue, adding a bit to my eyeliner is a nice addition. I always get compliments so I guess it looks ok! I like it and that is what really matters.

Eyeliner 101
Applying eyeliner is a tricky task, but getting a straight line is worth your time.
Stand six inches away from a mirror and tilt your chin up, so that when you look down your nose into the mirror, you can see your entire eyelid.
Dab concealer or dust translucent powder on your upper lids. Blend well with a sponge or lightly pat with a fingertip to cover veins and prevent creasing.
Before applying liner, determine your eye shape. If eyes are close-set or round, line only the outer corners. Otherwise, rim the entire upper lid.
Soften the pencil top by rolling it between your fingers.
Gently pull your eyelid taut at an upward angle. Beginning at the inner corner, draw small, connected dashes along the top lashes. Be sure to stay close to the roots so there is no skin visible between the lashes and the liner. To make eyes look bigger, extend the liner slightly beyond the outer corners.
Brush a matching powder shadow on top of the liner to keep it from rubbing off.
Soften the line with a sponge tip or cotton swab by rubbing it slightly up and out at the corners.
Use a cotton swab to fix mistakes. For larger messes, dip it in makeup remover.
