Plug and Play Perfection
Two days ago I clumsily broke my laptop's audio jack while cleaning the fans. Not wanting to drop the $$ for repairs on this dinosaur, I stumbled upon this low-priced audio adapter. Not only did it deliver in under a day, but it worked immediately when plugged in and delivers crisp audio. Can't say anything on the longevity as I just got it not even 20 min ago, but for the price it seems to be decently made.

Allows for both talking and hearing with headset!
Love this. My son’s gaming computer only had one port for both mike and headphone. We couldn’t get it to work for both options with his headset. I bought this USB adapter because it looked like the solution to fixing this. My son plugged his headset plugs into it and then plugged it into one of the laptop usb ports. It worked correctly and he can both hear and talk with his headset.Awesome!

Works Well.
The motherboard I bought for my old PC had a dead sound card on arrival, this replaced the sound card since it's USB based. Works very well, haven't had it cut out at all to this point.

Mono signal?
My MBP recognized the adapter but I could only get a mono signal from my receiver when connected with cable and ¼" to ⅛" stereo plug.

Works with Nintendo Switch dock!
I don't know if the microphone port works, but the headphone/line out works with the latest generation of the Nintendo Switch. I suspect it likely works with the older version too. I simply plugged the device into the USB port on the back of the Switch's dock and ran a cable to my speakers. I have my switch connected to my PC monitor via an HDMI switch and needed a way to get the audio out of the Switch without having to plug it into the headphone out of the Switch every time I docked it. This was a simple and easy solution for $14!

This dongle solved so many of my problems.
It was 9 dollars when I bought it, I'm a bit surprised to see the price increased. But it solved so many of my problems.I broke the motherboard headphone jack when I tripped over the wires. This works and sounds better than my motherboard one.Later on I tried to use a wire to redirect the sound from my Desktop to laptop, so I can use 1 bluetooth headphone for both. This avoids the annoying static noise if I connect the aux wire to the monitor aux output. For 9 bucks I'm happy.
