Have not worn these on a ride yet. I will be sure to update when I do. From a Mtn biking perspective these are a hardcore heavyweight single-track glove. The armored front side is thick and will be great protection when going through brush or tight fit taps off of tree branches and such. The frontside armor is quite thick and would definitely handle a good bashing that would otherwise really hurt with non armored gloves. Even the non armored areas on the frontside are very thick. They seem comfortable. No sewing defects. Sizing is funky. They sent me a large pair when I ordered a medium. I get the whole American medium is a Chinese large deal. The packaging seems for English speaking countries though. I really think this is an American large. Which surprisingly fits cuz I am a total medium all the way.The palm and fingers are ventilated. Although I doubt it will do much. Palm padding is excellent. Very robust and thick. Your whole palm is padded. Will be good for rock gardens, root sections, chatter in general.I think these gloves will shine in fall/spring/cooler summer days. This is NE Pennsylvania USA temps im talking. They are not ment to be a cold weather glove. These are cooler to warm weather riding gloves. You wear these in 85 to 100°F temps and they will probably be rather wet.Being the sizing is funky...the size they sent me fits well.I'll be sure to update when I wear them on a ride. I've been wearing gloves cycling for about 30 years...so I think my opinion is somewhat valid. Haha.

Best gloves I’ve used for riding MTB. The paddings are a plus for me and so are the protection for your knuckle's. Unfortunately, depending on how often you ride. The gloves wear out in about less than a year. You’ll develop holes on the fingers you use the most. In my case, it’s the thumb.

This is my second order of these. The first time I ordered them I had ordered the US Large and it was too small, so I returned it and ordered the US XL = Asian XXL, and they fit great! I love all the padding on the fingers and knuckles and all of the padding on the palms, which is where I injured my hand last time I fell. I fell forward over my bike and put my hands out to break the fall and I hit a hard surface and it bruised my palm right next to where the thumb attaches and now with all this padding I feel protected. I’m so happy now. I can’t wait to try them out on the trails while I continue learning how to mountain bike. I’ll let you all know how it goes. Until next time. Ciao!

I guess these are marketed by photos to motorocycles and not mountain bikers, but I know and trust the brand. These are pretty nice overall, but the top protection creates pressure points that are not comfortable for mountain biking over an hour. I think they would be fine on a motorcycle or e-bike though. I got the softer "blue" version of RockBros gloves and they are more of what I was looking for. I'll probably use them for yard work.

I use these gloves for mountain biking and they are a great combination of protection and comfort. One reviewer complained of the protection across the top of the fingers and suggested that it restricted movement. That review made me hesitate but I purchased it, tried the gloves, and now totally disagree with that review. The armor on top of the gloves doesn’t restrict movement and I definitely like the extra protection. The padding on the palm of the gloves is a perfect thickness and is well placed so that it absorbs shock and protects from falls but doesn’t leave you feeling disconnected from your bike while riding. Better yet, the padding really reduces some numbness in my hands while riding extended downhill runs. These gloves are great and a good value.

At first gloves fit tight, but still comfortable. Grip is awesome with the padding. Touchscreen functionality works great. Breathable, keep hands dry and cool.
