Great, for the price
Look, you have to put this in perspective of the price. This machine is under $300, and many "basic" filling machines are $1000+. That being said, it has some quirks, but overall I've packed about 5000lbs so far of powder plaster. It works well and is accurate to within 1 gram. (I pack in 100g batches, so a few grams isn't a big deal to me). All that said, once you really get to learn how the machine works, it's a MAJOR time saver. I went from hand-scooping and weighing to this and it's cut time in half. Yes, it's loud. Sometimes very loud. Here's what you need to know:The powder goes in the top. It sits on a vibrating tray. The vibration makes some powder fall off the edge onto the scale. It stops vibrating when your target weight is hit. There are 3 speed settings. The speeds change the vibration intensity of the pan. The slow setting is the quietest and its actually still pretty fast. Sometimes, if the material you're using is clumpy and isn't falling off the pan fast enough, the machine will automatically kick into the next speed higher. This is MUCH louder. Some people may be put off by this and think the machine is malfunctioning, it's not. Medium and Fast speeds are just really loud. This machine is about efficiency and time saving, not quietness.Yes, the buttons are in very bad english, just play around with them until you get it. It's not that hard to figure out.It has an automatic sensor under the out-spout, so when you hold a back up to it, it dumps automatically. This is AWESOME. It also has a peddle too but the sensor works fine so I just use that. The sensor might not work on clear plastic bags though, so you might have to use the peddle if your bag is see-through.Otherwise, it can hold quiet a bit of weight in the hopper. I put about 25lbs at a time of plaster powder in the top and it handles it fine. I wouldn't go much more than that.Again, this machine has some quirks and isn't what I would consider "high quality" - but also, the price is SIGNIFICANTLY less than most entry level machines, and the fact is: It works and it saves me a ton of time.I came here to buy my third machine and noticed I haven't yet left a review. Eventually, when the business has the funds, I will upgrade to a filling/packing machine that auto-bags and heat seals for me, but we're talking about $3000+ dollars for something like that.

Foot pedal does not work.... (Update)
(Update)Been using this machine for 2 months now. Had to stuff around 3-4 inch thick black socks on the sensor for the foot pedal to work. Now the machine doesn't work at all! It was working just fine and then poof--it randomly stopped vibrating and the weight filling won't work at all--it fills random quantities (extra slowly) and then spits it out without us even touching the sensors lol. We took it apart, cleaned it--nada. Doesn't work, same issue.--------------I followed directions to a T--cover the sensor with black tape (I used thick black gorilla tape) and plug the foot pedal in. It worked for about 10 minutes and then stopped working completely. Unfortunately we had just installed the long nozzle attachment (which covers the sensor so you can't activate it as easily). The worst part is I couldn't find another available foot pedal that would ship quickly. Shortest wait is 25 days. And I don't even know if it's the machine that's broken or the foot pedal. We use this for our business and have only had it for 30 days.

Made Changes to Machine's Insides to Make it Dose Accurately
I purchased a 10-500G SUMEVE Particle & Powder Filling Machine online from their website. The machine was Shiny & Bright, just in time to package Christmas coffee beans and pods. My wife and I set up the doser and immediately put it into use measuring roasted coffee beans. The first doser measurements were all over the place, so we ended up adding or subtracting beans to make the weight right. We went back to the reviews and saw that a few machines were returned for the same problem we just experienced. When I opened up the back of the machine what we sensed was real: every dose and its refill rattled the front wall, throwing off the refill measurement each time. The measurement tray was still touching the front wall.I unscrewed the bolts holing the measuring tray tower to the bottom of the doser and pushed the tower as far away from the front wall as possible, re-tightening the bolts. This worked for a while until the measuring tray somehow touched the wall again. This caused me to find a piece of wood to use as a spacer between the tower base and the wall. I measured the distance between the tower support bar and the outside wall with a longer piece of wood and marked the spacer.I used Velco attachments on the spacer ends, using the sticky Velcro backs to attach to each end so as to push the wall away from the measuring tray a little further than I measured and stuck the spacer to the wall and tower measuring support. I took one piece of Velco off the spacer to press the pin into place because I couldn’t slide the spacer into place. This corrected the problem and we haven’t had any problems since the fix. This spacer may be a solution to prevent future returns.
