Light weight, Rechargeable, Effective!
This is the best handheld vibrating massager I own or have seen. I have no disc material in my lower spine, and I'm 72, so the rest of me is not in very good shape either. I always have some kind of pain going on, and this has worked miracles for me. It's easy to pick up ..not heavy at all. You could carry it in your purse easily or carry on bag. It really doesn't make any noise at all. You would have to put your ear right up to it and strain to hear anything. As you see it's shaped like a barbell, and the end of it is about the size of my palm. One end has a small recessed spot that you push to turn it on off and the different modes.I also bought one for my niece who also has serious back problems and has had some back surgery as well. I sent it to her because she is in so much pain and spends a lot of time just trying to get the pain under control. I am not exaggerating when I say that this little vibrating massager has made the difference between sleepless nights and almost pain-free problem areas especially where I have bursitis in my shoulder that radiates pain down into my arm. If I use this massager for a few minutes sometimes the pain completely goes away. It's not very expensive which is great, and it's rechargeable which makes it easy to use. It has a low, med, and a high setting as well as a setting that vibrates low first, then increase to high and back down again. I like high!In the pictures I added here my niece's daughter has it on her back and has arranged the chairs in front of the television in what she calls an airplane pattern so she's flying the airplane and the vibrator is the engine...she's 7 :) I also included pictures so you could see how big it is my hands are the size of an adult male, so you can see it's about as long as my hand and also about as wide.So I know from experience this makes a great gift my niece likes it her daughter likes it and I got one for myself which I like. And oh yes my husband likes it too he went skiing yesterday, and he enjoyed his leg massage later. I really feel like anyone who is looking for a vibrating massager should buy this and if you're looking for a gift in this price range this may be just the ticket for you I hope I've helped you and covered the points answering questions you may have. Stay safe... Marcia in Modesto

Everything you need to know
Basically this is everything you need to know about this vibrating foam roller. Before I get into the review, if you were thinking about getting the Vertiball Portable Mountable Massager vs the FitIndex. Get the FitIndex and stay away from the Vertiball. The issues with that is does not stay on walls well and takes a while before the ball actually loosens up to get in the tight spots. Also, the FitIndex you feel more.Ok, onto the review:The roller itself is smaller than I expected. I expected a tad bigger but that is ok because it works great for some body parts and not for others. I will explain.1) If using for your legs it does an okay job, I feel you get much greater pressure from a regular size roller due to the height.2) If using on your feel it is very relaxing and does a good job of offering a massage.3) If using on your arms or hips its very light and easy to pickup so you can do a self roll and feel good.4) However, if using for your SHOULDER specifically in your scapula and rhomboids this does a great job of getting in the gaps that the larger ones just can't get.As for the Vibration levels, LEVEL 3 is the only level you should be using. Level 1 is great is you have a crazy sunburn and need something you will barely feel. Level 2 is not much better and level 4 is just a total joke as it goes on and over every 1 second. I will say that Level 3 is not high enough in my opinion and would like to see Level 4 replace with 15 seconds on and 2 seconds off of a range from 4000 to 6000.Overall its a great unit to get and if you have shoulder issues this is fantastic. Again, legs, get a regular roller.

Has potential
We were looking forward to using this to relieve some pain. Although it did a nice job for thigh muscles and foot tension, we found the vibrations even at the lowest setting to be too much for our shoulders. It came with a charger which was very convenient. It did not give any warning that the battery would die however, it just died. The settings went up with a simple press, but did not come back down to the first setting unless you turn if off and back on again. Overall, it is a powerful little roller massager.

Good, but not what I was expecting
I was expecting the diameter of the massager to be similar to a foam roller. Its small size makes it difficult to use the same way as a foam roller. The description also said the center section could be used as a foot massage so I was expecting it to be a massager version of a Foot Log, but it really isn't that. The center bumps are too small and soft to provide deep tissue penetration. A foot log is AMAZINING after being on your feet all day or after a long run. I was hoping for similar results with vibration. The vibrations did feel good on my feet but they are more "buzzy" than deep. I would have preferred a bigger weight on the motor to provide a deeper, harder hitting "rumble". The texture feels like a hard silicon, but the little knobs are still pretty soft. You can't tell that there are little knobs as you roll them over your skin. All that being said, the unit looks well built. The center spiky section is fixed while the ends with the larger knobs can rotate, but everything feels sold. There is a strange bug in the software though. When you cycle through the speeds it will sometimes stay stuck at the highest speed setting when you cycle back to the lowest setting (M1). I was able to get it to cycle correctly once but most of the time it gets stuck in highest setting. Not a huge deal; just turn it off the unit and turn it back on to start at the lowest setting. This is a nice unit and it may work well for you if your looking for something smaller (compared to a foam roller) and like buzzy vibration.
