What an awesome knife. These knives are so different than typical 20 degree knives and there’s a learning curve. Once you understand how to use, the experience is other level.

Extremely sharp and useful
I have had the Nikiri and the 6” Chef knife for a while. I wasn’t sure I needed the utility knife but I actually use it every day. Perfect for small fruits and veggies. Cutting cheese and pepperoni/sausage. I definitely recommend this knife and the entire Miyabi Kaisan ii line-up.

Super sharp!
This knife is a great size for working with vegetables and such. I love the Miyabi Kaizen II line of knives. They are super sharp and hold a great edge. Too bad the line was discontinued.

my favorite small-prep knife
Light and sharp. it's what makes prep work a pleasure. I use a ceramic honing rod to keep it ready for action.
