They work perfect
If you mount them in the right position you can be USCG compliant. Don’t listen to these keyboard know it alls cry about how they’re illegal, some don’t even own a boat. I live on Lake Santee Cooper, I’ve had several other vessels and even a game warden compliment on my navigation lights not one complained they appear illegal, if you live in SC, you'll know how strict DNR can be about compliance . They are extremely bright ,stick well, and use barley any power. Such a immense upgrade from my factory lights. No more searching for the post ,just a flip of the switch.

Nice Blue LED Lights No More Bugs!!!
I installed these lights on the gunnels of my bass boat 2 on the front deck 2 on the lower deck and 2 on the rear deck. 6 of these Blue lights made plenty illumination to cover the whole boat very well ! Lights are bright seem well made the 3M backing is strong and holds well to the smooth fiberglass after cleaning with alcohol. Nice 3 foot wire. Best part of all the blue doesn’t seem to draw bugs while fishing at night. I also installed them in my rod and tackle storage boxes .Measured amperage and 6 lights pulled about 1.5 amps DC

LED Navigation Lights
Great navigation lights, appear to be very durable and extremely easy installation. They’re encased in a waterproof cover and you have about 30” of wire which makes it easy to connect.

Brilliant!
Truly brilliant, lovely and bright, and drawing very little current.I use one strip of these on my well. I stuck them easily to the side of a solar panel and soldered the thin wires into the wiring that lets them illuminate when the well is pumping. They are adequately bright, have stayed stuck in 100F temps and I would buy them again in a heartbeat, unlike some LED bulbs I bought for my lawnmower that disintegrated in a few minutes. These are the real deal, I'm delighted with them!Recommended!

Happy initial impressions.
Initial impression is that it has good adhesion. I installed them on aluminum jon boat with an outside air temp of around 40 degrees. Lightly sanded the surface and wiped with rubbing alcohol before applying firm pressure to each one for 20-30 seconds. I bent it at 90 degrees along the cut line with no problems. Not sure if the double sided tape is 3M or not. Picture shows red backing and has 3 and M on it but also appears to have a W. Wire insulation adequately protects small guage red and black leads. Lights appear bright enough for purpose and LEDs are protected with flexible cover and appear to meet the IP67 water and dustproof rating.

Bright lights and durable
I added these lights to my kayak and they work great. Running red & green up front and two green strips in the rear. Very bright! Place them low enough to not be blinding while navigating. If you need bait fish the green will quickly attract them as I had hundreds swimming around my kayak once I turned them on. Also the rubber that is surrounding the LEDs is very durable I bumped against some rocks and the rubber held up with just a scuff and no damage to my kayak. Great product and priced well.

Very Bright
The LED's are very bright and should be easily seen on the water. Compared to the approved bow lighting they should see these from space. The installation is very easy, just deciding how to run the wire is the biggest thing. The adhesive stuck very well, time will tell on that. So far I think they are great and very very bright.

Great item, especially for the price
Very bright, easy to apply. Flexible so you can follow contours. Tape seems strong enough. However on one I applied to the wrong area and I added an adhesive to be sure. I have some urethane adhesive sealant that I'll put a bead around for extra protection, leaving weep hole at the bottom to allow any moisture to get out. Someone said the wires were about 6', mine were a little less than 3'. Seem to be high quality and hopefully more reliable than the nav. post lights. I reccomend these.
