Overall this is a great fan for effectively circulating air in medium-large sized rooms.Pros:+Powerful enough to move the air around while not being overly "breezy" due to a variety of vertical-horizontal oscillation settings.+Having a remote with all these innovative settings and power is basically a requirement, but you can get to them on the panel.+Timer feature is handy.+Can turn off the status panel light for a stealthy approach in dark rooms.Cons:-The little remote clip is a neat idea, but has room for improvement, is falls off way to easily. Has fallen off at least five times and bounced and skipped across the floor just when removing the remote. My solution is not using it at all and leaving the remote lying around...so basically useless.Neutral:=It is considerably louder that average at higher speeds. Understand it's pretty much unavoidable to have this size and work as well as it does. It's mostly "air moving over fan blades" noise at higher RPM, the motor itself seems decently quiet. With the remote, can change it up easily for more subtle operation. An upside to this is it certainly does provide an ample degree of white noise some of us find useful in falling asleep.Update 4-13-2021, fan started making an annoying vibration/buzzing whining noise due entirely to the front plastic swirly louver/cover fitting a wee bit loosely. I quickly discovered there is not an obvious easy way to remove the cover (suppose this is for child safety, but there should be a way without breaking it). Perhaps there is a way in the manual I could not find for download on the website, so I did not bother going into it too much. A QUICK FIX worked: tear off about a fingernail size corner of a white envelope, press gently on either side of the fan to open the seam a bit, insert the envelope corner in the space with one hand, push in so it disappears in the seam. No more buzz whine and invisible. Was close to losing one star for these issues, but retains 5 for overall functionality and cool (literally) aesthetic. Pretty much the best fan I've owned in it's weight/power class so far.

This is a very fine small appliance -- does a lot of good things. The sweep functions, lateral and vertical, are effective in cooling spaces both large and small. I've purchased three of these fans, two as gifts. Unfortunately, the one I bought for myself came with a built-in flaw; the horizontal sweeping action does not work. (The up-and-down does.) Since I didn't keep either the box or the receipt, I've not tried to return it for a replacement. Still, it's a good fan even with that problem -- especially in my smallish bedroom on a warm night. I highly recommend this product!

Put this fan in my bedroom and I like it and there’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just not very strong at all. On the highest setting I gotta be sitting 3 feet away from it to feel anything

The fan makes a funny noise—not the type that lulls you to sleep, but one that agitates you, as though the fan is not balanced. I would not recommend or buy it again. Buy a Vornado; even an inexpensive one surpasses this fan.

I've had it for about 6 months. It is starting to just shut off on its own.

Bought for my mom who lives in a nursing home. She loved this fan and the fact that it had a remote. Very good transaction

This fan is AMAZING and that’s going light! It has a remote first of all and second it has 3 speeds and one is literally like it’s mimicking the wind from slow to fast to medium to all over,its perfect to replicate outdoors and if that’s not what you want there are other options.It always moves side to side and upside down and completely UP lol👍.This is the best fan I’ve ever owned and I love this thing.Im probably getting another one...or two👍Trust me people GET ONE 👌
