Solid, chunky, cool watch
I stumbled across this watch almost randomly here on Amazon. The unique look intrigued me and I did a bit of research online. The watch was reasonably priced and eventually I bought one. I'm glad I did. First, I'm not a diver. The watch is rated for 1000m, but I'll never test it! That said, I am a sucker for dive watches as well as over-engineered, tough products--and this seems to check both of those boxes! I've owned it for about a month now, and so far it's been fine. It took a couple weeks to come in from Europe. The packaging was good and the watch arrived in a tin that was packed in a cardboard box. The tin was nice and foam-padded inside, but was otherwise no-frills. The watch was cosmetically perfect. No complaints there. It's a heavy watch, but I have big wrists and I'm not exactly tiny, so it's not a problem for me. This version has arabic numerals around the dial, with large 1-12 markings and smaller numbers around the edge of the dial for the 24 H hand. You can set the 24 H hand for GMT (as I do). The dial is luminous, and the lume duration after charging is okay, but it's not as good as Seiko or Rolex--not that it matters to me. The dial is a fluorescent/lume green and the hands are blaze orange, so they contrast well against the black hashmarks. My only real complaint is that the numbers can be a bit small--but my eyes aren't what they used to be and everything looks small anymore! Wearing the watch, you notice the weight and it might be too much for some. Again, it doesn't bother me at all. There is a helium valve on the left-had side of the watch at the 9:00 position. It doesn't seem to bother anything, but some might feel that it could snag on things (I'm left-handed and therefore with the watch on my right wrist, it might snag on sleeve ends, but I haven't had that occur). The crown is at the 4:00 position and it's protected (and screw-in, of course). The bezel works well with no slop on mine. Overall, the machining is very good--no tool marks and nothing is overly sharp. One of the best things that I was surprised with was the rubber strap. I'm generally not a fan of rubber straps, but this one is exceptionally soft and comfortable. Overall, it's a solid, cool watch! It's anything but subtle. It's big and heavy, and I knew that going in. If I could complain about anything, I wish the numbers were a tad larger, but others might disagree. I'm pleased with this purchase!

I wanted a Bowie, James Bond, Bernini meets Wagner Post-Apocalypse Watch - I GOT IT!!
The green dial - THE WHOLE THING IS A LIGHTHOUSE after I put my tactical flashlight to it for 4 seconds! So beautiful - DAY or night! It is OBVIOUSLY carefully considered, designed and MADE by GERMANS: think BMW, Mercedes or a Luftwaffe aircraft hewn from steel! Tag Heuer imply you are trying too hard! This watch OOZES relaxed cool strength. I'm sure it would survive being bombed. I'm taking it with me, right into the afterlife, if the devil doesn't steal it first!

Hard to read in low light.
I bought this to replace my old one I use on wreck diving. It is definitely a 'real deal' divers watch. Actually it is a little above my expertise as it is designed more for mixed gas or saturation divers and I am currently not certified for either, so it is really more watch than I need as I am only certified for about 140 feet deep. The only complaint I have is that with the typical German glowing dial, plus the glow hands there is not enough contrast to see in low visibilities. Usual German ones have black hands against the glowing dial. However for anyone wanting a watch for actual diving, and not for just looking cool, this is a very good choice for the money.

Awesome value & glow but not like tritium
I love the way it glows after I give it some lumens from my weapon light. I wish they used tritium by I know it’s not allowed by red tape commissars in the EU. Still, this is 5 stars! What an incredible value and great quality! The first thing you notice after adjusting it and placing it on your hand is how big and beautiful the dial is. Then you realize the band is super comfortable. In fact the most comfortable I ever wore, and I collect a lot of watches. It is heavier than an IWC but not uncomfortable heavy. You just feel it is there. Did I mention it is easy to read the time, even for someone who uses reading glasses, but not the date which is expected. It worth a lot more than it sells for. Get one before they run out since it seems they keep a very small inventory. Great watch!

Highest German standards
I have many watches and I can say this watch is outstanding. This is a beautifully made high quality watch. After testing this watch out. I found it super accurate. The dial is easy to read even in merkey water. Guys this is a real diving watch made to the highest german standards. I can highly recommend this product to other buyers.
