OEM Electronic 5-Button Smart Key Fob Remote Compatible with 2014-2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee (FCC ID: M3N-40821302, P/N: 68143505)

Recently bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee that came with only 1 key fob. Was quoted $200-$400 for an additional key fob. Ordered this one and had it programmed at a local locksmith. It worked flawlessly and I ended up with $100+ in this additional fob. I’m a satisfied customer

Purchased this key fob and a slightly cheaper one from another company for my 2017 Grand Cherokee. The quality of this unit was instantly visible. Good build, good feel and programmed perfectly.Website was helpful with information and locations that could perform the reprogram. Unfortunately, I went to a dealership who messed up cutting the emergency key blank.North Coast responded to my email within hours and promptly helped me get squared away with a new blank. If I need another key fob in the future, I will absolutely choose this one.

Took this FOB in for my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The shop got the MOPAR PIN to program it, but they couldn't get the signal to program properly. Ultimately, I ended up having to have the shop re-build a FOB from scratch, so I ended up wasting $70 on this. Oh, and it's important to keep in mind that this is a push-to-start key FOB, so it's not like you can just watch a YouTube video and do it yourself. You really have to resign yourself to shelling out between $250-$300 to replace a lost FOB for this vehicle.

Good:- Dealer programmed for $75. Cut key at Home Depot - no charge...So I saved over $200 from the quote from the same dealer for a keyfob supplied, program and cut by them ($365!!!)- Circuit board marked as indicated on picture and appears identical to the original- Keyfob operates locks, remote start and hatch at full distances, just like the originalBad:- Keyfob did not match the picture in the posting - no JEEP logo on back...and no evidence this is really a MOPAR part, which was also indicated in the posting. These were two of the main reasons I selected this item over some less expensive options - MOPAR is a Chrysler official aftermarket supplier.- Key was slightly bent.- For some strange reason, the car does not recognize the keyfob when trying to actually start the vehicle normally. You have to physically press the keyfob to the start button to start the car. Otherwise works fine.
