This is our second Dolphin and we love it. This review is for the Mercury. Take note there are other model names that are the same machine:).It works great! It's easy to clean. I love that it doesn't have roller rings that will wear away.Initially the machine would start, move for 2 seconds and then power down. I contact customer service and they were SUPER KIND and very helpful. Apparently the motor can get out of wack and needs reset. it was VERY EASY.Also take note, it comes with 2 sets of filters; fine and super fine. I purchased a set of super fine filters for $100 and will be returning them since this package comes with them.

No major problems..occasionally misses cleaning small areas of pool floor. Would definitely recommend purchasing at sale price.

I've purchased a new Dolphin Robot Pool Cleaner every 3 or 4 years. First I had the Premier (but it was too heavy, and the unit had to be turned over, to remove and clean the filter basket). Next I had the Nautilus CC Plus (it was lighter and the filters could be removed and cleaned from the top; but: sometimes the filter cartridges were difficult to remove from the robot); I purchased the Nautilus CC twice. Recently I purchased this Mercury: it cleans as well as the others: the filter basket is easily removed from the top of the robot; it's lightweight; it can be programmed from my iPhone app, as well as turned on and off using the app; it also includes a set of ultra fine filters.

First let me say the company it was purchased through was great. They product not so much. Was defective and returned. Never worked out of the box but the company handled the issues and refunded fast. They were fantastic!!

This pool cleaner was easy to set up online via the app. It runs fine and the basket is easy to clean. Its quiet, doesn't get stuck. The app is easy to use and intuitive.HOWEVER...I have a medium size pool, only 15000 gallons. I have the cleaner scheduled to run every day. The biggest problem that I have with this unit is that it only cleans for 2 hours per scheduled period and you CAN'T increase that amount of time. Furthermore, you can only schedule it to clean 1x per day. In the 2 hour cycle it isn't able to clean my whole pool. I want to increase the clean time to 3-4 hours but am not able to. I'd even settle for starting another cleaning cycle after the first one is done but can't do that either. I'm not sure what limiting the amount of time, not making it adjustable to more than 2 hours accomplishes? Customer support was unable to help me and had no answers.Not sure if I'll keep it. I want to like it, but limiting the time just doesn't make sense. If it doesnt' clean my 15k gallon pool I can't imagine it doing a good job on any larger size pool.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is awesome...I had a side suction cleaner that ran at 2800 rpm, used a lot of electricity, and never got the sides or shallow end good. This thing is amazing and gets the sides really well and scrubs the tile line (see video). I checked my electricity usage with the suction cleaner and the mercury, both ran from 6-8am on different days. seems it saved 4 kWh per day (a whopping 1440 kWh per year!). This thing is awesome and I have no regrets I got the wifi version so if I’m at work and I know people are coming over I can clean it an extra time if needed.

This robot cleaner, is saving me time, dosen't use the pool pump, meaning the dirt dosen't go to the main filter. Climb the walls easy....it's amazing 👏.
