So we literally threw out all the crap and bought organic INGREDIENTS
When serious illness hit our family because of ignorant food choices (organic junk food is still junk food) and needed to reverse the illnesses we went on a Whole Food (no Processed Foods) Plant Based Diet with and emphasis on starch. So we literally threw out all the crap and bought organic INGREDIENTS, emphasis on ingredients from the bulk food isle. Its hard to maintain a healthy diet on rabbit food. Starch is king in our house. Since we are also trying to loose weight, no flour, nuts, seed, avocados, and most of all, NO OIL. With little to no salt or sugar. Once the Doug Lyle Pleasure Trap has been reset, its easy to do.So the next thing to do is find the tools to make food easy as heating up processed foods. The Instant Pot is it. We own the mini for traveling (3 quart), the 6 quart is our main appliance and for soups, and we eat a lot of bean soups, you NEED the 8 Quart Instant Pot or you will get boil over issues.Next is to find a cook who follows Dr. John McDougall, Dr. Michael Klaper, Dr. Furhman, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. Collin Campbell and Dr. Michael Greggor's diets. Hence, that leads us to over 100 Vegan Instant Pot cookbook authors. Chef AJ, Jill McKeever Jill Nussinow (highly recommend) and Cathy Hestor are the books that make it easy, enhance the flavors, and adhere to the above mentioned MDs dietary guidelines to reverse dietary illnesses and maintain optimal health. The focus is on making ingredients into to meals as easy as microwave crap.I especially like this book because of the flavors. And don't forget to subscribe to her youtube channel.... I wonder if Jill needs to put a hair net on those ears???? Hummm....

What a RIP OFF!!!
I love to cook and eat plant based as much as I enjoy collecting cookbooks. My daughter bought this book and we were so excited to receive it. BUT, this is truly the worst so called "cookbook" I have ever seen. So unprofessional in pictures- that are a full page size, why? The full page recipe is on the previous page and there are hardly 80 pages to this whole book! The recipes are nothing exciting that makes me even want to make them, they are plain and not a lot of variety. All for $19.98. Unbelievable. Maybe $5.00 would have been fair. I often critique items I purchase on Amazon and this has got to be the biggest bust yet!

Family friendly
While I was hesitant to fork out this much dough for a cookbook, I ultimately decided it was a good investment for a few reasons. I like to watch all of Jill's YouTube videos, but the recipes don't transfer to my menu planner app. Since I no longer have a system for written recipes, this was a tiny little annoyance for recipes I wanted to try and we liked. Secondly, I freaking love my InstantPot, and love trying new recipes in it. Thirdly, being vegan, having recipes at my fingertips that are both fast and delicious (and voluminous) for the teens in my family is very important. I also figured a purchase of this book would increase the likelihood of more vegan pressure cooking books being produced.Another thing I like about this (and all of Jill's recipes) is that her recipes are family friendly for those of with us more traditional palettes. Since becoming vegan we are eating a lot more ethnic food which we do enjoy, but coming back to old-style meals is a treat and a pleasure for us. Jill gives us that.Something else that should be mentioned is that her recipes are low in fat for the most part which is very important from a dietary standpoint.I can't think of any recipe in this book that we haven't liked even if it sounded a little strange looking at it. I think anyone vegan who wants fast easy tasty family meals would like these recipes.

Don’t waste your money!
What a joke! This cookbook is filled up with processed foods for ingredients. I wouldn’t call this a healthy cookbook in anyway. 85 pages? Are you kidding me? Just a total waste of money! I’m not going to return it because it’s just not worth the hassle. But it’s going in the springs garage sale, that’s for sure!

Cooking in the Instant Pot fun? YES! Great pictures and easy instructions
For those not familiar with Jill on You-Tube you are missing a treat, she is funny and down to earth! This cookbook is so incredibly great for all first time Instant Pot owners to find some delicious and easy recipes. This is a plant based cookbook so if you want to know how to cook meat this is not for you. I have had my IP for over a yr and along with Jill Nussinow's cookbook this one is a must have. The pictures are great, the directions are super easy and the ingredients are things you would have on hand. She is good with helpful hints and making cooking fun.

Not worth the price you pay!
Super thin. Most recipes included soy curls which I have no interest in eating or buying. Most of the recipes can also be viewed on her website. Book takes up alot of unnecessary space, that could have been used for more recipes, with pictures of the author’s family. Not worth the $22 bucks! I really should have read the negative reviews first prior to purchase!

Very US biased
I really wanted to love this book because I love Jill's YouTube channel and I think that is part of the problem. These aren't new recipes, they are ones she has already shared on her channel. Whilst it is still good to support someone offering so much for free by buying a cookbook, it is frustrating that so many of the recipes rely on American branded products (with no suggested alternatives for those of us who don't live in the USA). Soy curls are used over and over again in these recipes and if it's not soy curls it is Gardein products or Field Roast products. Then there are 4 recipes that aren't really recipes at all. There are 2 recipes that are just instructions for cooking plain rice, 1 for how to cook baby potatoes and 1 for mashed potato. Unless you are a total novice to IP cooking who can't read the instructions that came with it these are just filler.Really wanted to love this book but actually wish I could get my money back.

Don't waste your money
I cannot see what justification there can possibly be for the cost of this short and amateurishly produced book: £7.59 for a random collection of recipes, two of which are available in the Instant Pot instruction manual! McKeever is neither a professional writer nor photographer and it shows. This is a short and motley collection of unappetizing looking recipes which rely heavily on ingredients which are difficult to obtain in the UK, or very expensive, such as soy curls, Better than Bouillon and liquid smoke. If I had bought a hard copy as opposed to the Kindle edition, I would without doubt be returning it and the fact that I can’t makes me feel distinctly ripped off. I doubt very much that I will look at it ever again, let alone cook anyone from its pages. There are much better books out there. My advice is, don’t waste your money!

Great for the whole family plant based or not.
such great recipes. Easy to put together. Many are very quick to cook. I'm amazed at how few ingredients end up being so tasty. Every recipe I've tried has been very good and added to my regular menu to be repeated on a regular basis. I would recommend this book strongly to every home , whether you are plant based or not the family will enjoy these meals.
