Hype or performance. Excellent thermal paste if your looking for performance
My first assumption was there was a lot of hype about the โKingpinโ brand thermal paste so of course I had to try it. I have worked with hundreds of different thermal pastes over the 20 years Iโve been an IT Administrator and building custom gaming rigs as well as servicing laptops, graphics cards and everything in between. At first I thought this paste was a little on the thin side. However it spread really easy using either the blob in the center or using the included spatula. Use whatever application method you choose as it makes no difference in performance AT ALL as long as you donโt use too little. Too much only makes a mess but does not in any way harm performance like everyone would want you to believe and since this paste is non-conductive thereโs no risk of causing a short. So now to the tests. So I put the the KPx up against some well known pasta such as Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, Corsair TM30, Noctua N1-H1, Thermaltake Master Gel Pro, and ZF-12 thermal compound and it held its own! It performed identically to the Kryonaut while outperforming the others by 5-10deg C. So I was pretty impressed with the performance but not the high price. BUT I guess if you want the best your going to pay for it! However in most cases a cheaper thermal paste would be just fine unless your working with higher end CPUโs and GPUโs. OR you just want a high quality thermal paste you can set and forget! However for most enthusiasts we change parts like we change cloths so I personally go thru ALOT of thermal paste! lol So all in all this was a great thermal paste and worked fantastic.

Great thermal paste
Seems to work good and itโs easy to apply. Kingpin is known for cooling solutions and KPx is a great option and last a long time I normally replace thermal paste at least once a year and this is still good after a year, and itโs blue lol

Best stuff I've used.
This is the best cpu paste I have ever used. It's very thick and transfers heat well. I didn't do before or after testing but I do not notice some of the weird thermal issues I had before. You also get a huge tube of it which is nice and h3lps to justify the higher price point.

Definitely worth the purchase. Years & years & still going strong.
I only ever applied this once many years ago & still have not needed to replace it since; it has not dried out in the slightest, & the computer system it is in has been kept amazingly cool. Definitely worth the value of this purchase.

Just as good if not better than Thermal Grizzly's
If you are worried about the performance difference of this paste versus Thermal Grizzly, I did not see any change in temperatures on either my CPU (R9 5950X) or GPU (EVGA KP 3090). They are both premium products so you can not go wrong with either of them. What drove my decision to buy this over Thermal Grizzly was the price for the 30g tubes - the KPx was cheaper.

Premium price, premium results
I was a bit taken aback by the price at first, but know this, compared to other cheaper brands, from my testing, Corsair thermal paste, was a far inferior product. This Kingpin thermal paste lowered my temps in my gpu almost 10 degrees on the junction and hotspot. I recommend this thermal paste to anyone who enjoys overclocking, or just trying to reduce heat within your system.

It's kpx, what else do you need to know.
Easy to spread, won't crack under negative temps, and I mean what else could I put on a kingpin card in a kingpin build ๐ค

Impressive
Very happy with this purchase. Paying this much for thermal paste is very much a worthwhile investment. It's helped me to tame the 4090 with a 20-22c delta whilst pulling 430-450w. It is far more viscous than I thought it would be which made spreading it easier. It's only been 4 days and I've come across a a Youtube video of how this stuff doesn't perform well after 6 months. So if this is the case, I'll update my review but if this remains unedited, assume all is well and that I recommend this thermal paste. Edit - 5 Months later By delta I mean liquid delta, ambient room delta would be nice though. Temps are about the same. Taking the average from HWiNFO64 and the water temps after 30 min where I sat in CP 2077 in a spot that is very GPU heavy and draws 410-440w. Simulated it all the same way as much as I could, CP 2077 has been updated a few times over the last 5 months but the power draw was pretty much the same and the taxing of the GPU which seemed to be similar and the delta was 22c. Whether it's due to how I or they applied the thermal paste, whether they got a bad batch or if it's due to them possibly living in a dryer climate (I'm in the UK), The GPU has gone as high as 530W for a few seconds, had a lot of high and low temperatures through different games and different parts of the map, multiple 3DMark tests, times when I have just relaxed after a long day/week/month and consumed YouTube whilst browsing Amazon, FB, Etc, so the thermal paste has certainly been through a lot of different and in some cases rapid temperature changes in these last 5 months. Not sure why someone else's results would differ so wildly but I am thankful that I never had to experience what some few others have.

Awesome
Amazing thermal paste. I used it on both my CPU and GPU water blocks, keeps temperature down a few degrees lower than other thermal paste.
