I purchased this for the classic Kong chew toy. I needed the medium, and the medium one was out of stock (to purchase only the chew toy.) So, I decided to go ahead and get this one with the stuffed animal. I am so glad I did. When I opened the package my dog got so excited. I handed him the stuffed animal and he hardly ever puts it down (except to sleep and eat) since he got it! We have played tug-of-war with it and fetch. It still looks brand new. I love Kong products. They hold up well even with aggressive chewers. It is much cuter than than the picture too.

I have a Pitt Bull that tears up everything! He loves his stuffed animals but the stuffing that comes out of the normal animals is dangerous to him and messy. And, the self life is 2 days max. With the Kong brand, he last two weeks before he was able to pull the leg off the bear and it wasn't so packed with stuffing that it was a danger to him. The Kong was a little small for him (he's 60+ lbs) but he uses it as a toy to throw.

My family got a husky puppy and it destroys every time we give her, not this one though. She plays with it when there aren’t even treats in it. The key to making it work is making a slightly wet slurry with the dogs favorite treat. Coat the inside with peanut butter p, then put the slurry into the Kong and cap it with more peanut butter. Now put in the freezer, I promise your dog will love it!

My puppy is though on toys. He destroys almost everything within days. I'm happy to say that he still has his bear. It's a little chewed up around the ears, but otherwise unscathed. The kong is a perfect treat to get him to stay still in his kennel at night.

She definitely chewed the bear to bits within a month, but I kind of expected that since she is a strong chewer. The rubber kong toy is still in tact, and she loves it. I put Kong cookies in it as a treat.

Hands down both my dogs favorite toy ( the teddy bear ) and they have A LOT of toys. They are in a constant battle for who gets the teddy bears ( they each got one ) And completely ignore all other toys for the most part. I'm holding one in the attached picture and they both just sit and stare at me until I give it up haha

I would say this toy is for smaller dogs. But it works and is cute. Amazingly, the squeaker has already lasted a couple of days!
