Amazon has really gone downhill. This item was sent to the wrong house. The Amazon driver even sent me a pic of the item being delivered to the wrong house. Luckily, I was able to retrieve it before the porch pirates got their hands on it. So, I give ZERO stars to Amazon's illiterate delivery person.As for this Bible, it is excellent. The translation is very readable, the book itself is a good size. Yes, the pages are thin, but if they were thicker the book would be twice the width. I like the little intros at the beginning of each book and the context that they contain. There's a good glossary and some nice maps at the end. As for the font size, I'm okay with it, but I wear glasses because I have astigmatism, so it's not a problem. Without my glasses, I wouldn't be able to read a word. So, while I give Amazon delivery 0 stars, I give this Bible 5 out of 5 stars. It's a great purchase and a high-quality item for only $23. I bought the teal, and the color is really attractive.

My original Bible was getting so torn and tattered, the spine breaking in various places, I decided it was time to invest in a new Bible. This is perfect for my trips to Bible study on the bookshelf or on my lap. Very compact, well bound and I like the 'leathersoft' covering that I suspect is some type of vinyl. Definitely need my reading glasses for this one, print is very small! but easily transportable to weekly Bible study sessions in my compact briefcase along with other essentials.

Beautifully made. Lots of helpful content. The first part of the book has a lot of good info regarding what we believe, what the church is about, timeline of church history, etc. At the back you can find some colorful and helpful maps.The paper is thin like many other bibles and could tear easily.The edge is gilded in gold and it has two ribbons in different colors as bookmarks. I love this feature.The Bible is so well made and feels of good quality for the price (under $30). The cover is flexible with a leather feel and feels “warm” and comfortable when held. The color is more of a blueish green, dark teal and not as green as pictured on amazon. It’s really a pretty color.It comes in a hard cover box which makes it ideal as a gift.The text is anglicized meaning that some words, grammar and punctuation is done in the manner that English is spoken in the UK and British Isles, like saying whilst instead of while, or labour instead of labor. I’m not bothered by it.The text is easy to read, the don’t is not minute like other Bibles I’ve seen. The thin paper does allow for ghosting but it’s not bothersome to look at.

Pretty, high quality cover. What I love about this bible is the added features. There is a section on how to pray with the Bible, and lists of terminology and concepts for people who are unfamiliar. I am very happy with my purchase

Good quality Bible, but not the one the Catholic Church actually authorizes so it’s missing a couple of the books of the Old Testament but if you’re looking for a king, James version this is perfect

This Catholic Bible is a standard size Bible and is easy to use easy to find scriptures and will be a great addition to your home or as a gift. Great price offered.

Everything about this bible is wonderful, from the luxurious leather soft cover to the additions to the Bible, such as maps and study guides. The only reason I marked it down one star is because my Bible came with a cardboard wrapping into which the Bible itself was glued very lightly on the bottom edge. When removing the Bible from the wrapping, it pulled the finish off of the beautiful teal cover along that bottom edge. In the picture, the left-hand side is the damaged edged and the other edge is just perfect. The second picture shows the wrapping with the teal finish, stuck to the adhesive. I mention this because it is sold as a gift Bible and it would be somewhat disturbing to have a gift be damaged before it’s even used.
