King Stropharia, Wine Cap, Garden Giant Mushroom, Live Liquid Culture syringe 10 cc Bought what I thought was some King Stropharia in solution, I made some plates, then to grain, grew that up to 4 gallons of grain spawn. Meanwhile I made a site for them, created a lasagne of wood chips & other ligno/cellulosic materials. The day came to put them together & then the waiting started... I had hoped to get some this year, probably be next year I thought... Well I most definitely have some this year! Only they are NOT King Stropharia!! They are Pleurotus Ostreatus or another close looking relative, Still highly edible BUT NOT WHAT I WANTED, NEEDED OR ORDERED!!!I now have a huge area dedicated to King Stropharia that is now Oyster instead, plus a couple of friends will now need to be told they have the wrong mycelium, hopefully they have not ruined their plots like I have mine. It's going to be many years until I can undo this kind of screw up, or have to pay someone to take a 1/2 a dump truck load (or more) of my backyard away. Only to replace all the soil in my growing areas as well, even then I have spread it all over thinking it was the correct mushroom making most of our yard wrecked for planting any other mycelium until their food source runs out. That will be a 3 to 5 year minimum the way my piles are made, plus my cultures are now suspect so have to be thrown away & my growing areas inside will have to be watched for unwanted contaminations because of this!!WHAT A FREAKING NIGHTMARE!!!

It came quickly and I successfully cultered my jars with it. I am pleased with the results.

Got my order filled and shipped fast and I am building the beds for these as quick as I can. Will have spawn ready in a couple weeks and mushrooms by March.
