TAGLab C8 Battery Charger (with Insulated Clamps)

A really good quality product. Trustworthy. Easy to use and has lot os protection to keep the user safe. Suggestion to manufacturer: please briefly mention about "blinking power light". Your instruction and user manual describes nothing about it. I just spent about 2 hours experimenting on the unit thinking that the product was defective. It would just not go to charging mode. The power light just kept blinking. But finally I sorted it out myself as there was no help from the manual. Please save the time of your future customers. Thanks. All praise......

Very impressed with this product. Easy to use for a complete newbie. All you have to do is connect the clamp cables to the charger, the black clamp to the negative (-) pole of the battey and the red clamp to the positive(+) terminal of the battery. If you connect in reverse, this charger is supposed to indicate an error to help you correct. Keep in mind this is a trickle charger, so it will charge slowly. It is supposed to restore the battery charge in 9 phases of charging. Also there is supposed to be overcharging protection. Find a well ventilated place where nobody comes and goes and connect this to the car battery. It took almost a day to charge my car battery ( Tata 12 V for Toyota Yaris) from 20% to 85%. Then another day passed where it seemed to only maintain the charge at 85%. I couldn't wait any longer and put the battery back in the car, which started immediately. This saved me the trouble of going and getting my battery replaced or charged outside in these virus hit times. Basically once you connect the charger you can forget all about it, this charger is so good, though obviously this is not advisable. An electronically controlled trickle charger like this which varies the charging current based on the charging status of the battery and which you don't have to monitor, is better than a fast charger which you have to keep a watch on and which may overcharge your battery. Is it expensive? Yes, if you compare to other chargers, but is still cheaper comparing it to other charging control chargers

Clamp it to the battery, and it shows battery charge level. Then plug it to wall a/c outlet point and select the voltage of the battery ( 12v or 24v) and it starts charging. Over charge protection and trickle charging once full are very useful. A very good charger and they claim to bring a very weak battery to working condition. The only thing that is not ideal is that if electricity is turned off during power cut etc, this device does not have auto restart. Have to select voltage mode again and then it restarts. Not a big minus point. Found this device to be a really good one.

I used the Battery charger on my Car battery and it works fine. Anyone with more than one car that too Vintage / Classic Cars can go for the product. I used on my Maruti 800 and Premier Padmini.
