Mindful Nature® Wheat Straws - 100 All-Natural Drinking Straws - Single use, Disposable, Biodegradable, and Compostable

I bought these to use for craft purposes and they are very good. They were clean and quite straight. There were very few split straws. The diameter varies quite a lot but that was fine for me.

These straws surpassed my expectations. They are very smooth compared to others of similar nature. I was warned that they would be rough, but seemingly, they have been polished. They hold up well in hot or cold drinks. I often reuse straws, and these even hold up to washing and reuse (a time or two). Very satisfied overall.

Wheat straws are my favorite biodegradable alternative to plastic straws. All wheat straws are somewhat fragile; but I know how to use them very successfully and can even keep using one in my hot water cup for several days in a row. My dissatisfaction with my order, a couple of months ago, of these straws was due to the poor shipping method chosen by Amazon; this one little cardboard box of straws came in a rather lightweight (too flimsy for this fragile product) envelope.The straw box was crushed as were most of the delicate straws. I was very disappointed but had no time nor energy to contact Amazon about it; now I am hesitant to buy more wheat straws from any manufacturer for fear Amazon will poorly choose the shipping method. With many a light weight order I bet the envelope would have worked just fine and been a great, environmentally sound choice. But sadly not for these delicate straws.

Not bad as backup straws. Sizes vary but they are definitely functional.

I could not get my usual wheat straws so bought these. These are only 8” long, my others were 8.5” long and so these barely make it to the edge of my travel mug. There are are lot of these straws that are just too small and weak so they crack easily and are not good for drinking. They last a long time with my coffees, but not as long as other manufacturers: I do use them over multiple days and long\multiple reheated morning coffees. so they do work, I have just been spoilt with the other manufacturers quality and quality control.

These wheat straws are pretty good and sturdy if you're using for cold drinks and these do last for hours. They don't break apart or disintegrate like paper straws if you're using it for cold or room temp beverages.For hot beverages, it does break apart...somewhat. It gets soft and splits a bit, however it doesn't disintegrate or melt, but you may sip a bit of air while drinking. I was using it for coffee and tea so it wouldn't stain my teeth as much.The straw does float to the top, but in hot beverages after adjusting to the liquid and a few long sips, the straw eventually sinks down (for cold beverages may not go all the way down). The width and shapes of the straw differs for each straw.Overall, it is a good straw and I would recommend over paper and plastic. I may try bamboo next.

These are great! I’ve even ran them through the washing machine & They still worked. No weird taste a bit thin. I’ve left them in bottles of water over night & they’re still useable. They don’t degrade in water. If you chew them or bend them they will collapse but not from being wet. They’re great, I’ll buy again instead of straws. My kids are happy with them, we’re saving turtles & ourselves

These straws are great. It's easy to find eco-friendly straws, but not easy to find one that replicates the feel - and most importantly the lack of flavor - of a plastic straw. Paper straw disintegrate and make your drink taste like cardboard. These wheat straws work perfectly, don't fall apart, and don't change the flavor of your drink!I also appreciated that the packaging was green as well. Definitely adding to my regular Amazon order!
