Great light just needs one little hack to make perfect
Our $1000 pool light broke. I went with these. Cheap easy solution. As others have mentioned, the suction cups are useless. The magnet was a potentially good idea but it wasn't strong enough. So my local hardware store guy came up with this idea. I was actually going to epoxy opposite magnets to the wall of the pool, but I didn't even need to. Apparently our pool wall is magnetic, so I just doubled up the magnets and it works perfectly. So for an extra $2 a light you can take it on and off and reposition. Now of course they should just make the magnet in the light a whole lot stronger but for the overall cost and what it's replacing it's a home run

Nice output - while they worked...
We ordered the lights around the end of April and arrived about a week later (Prime delay due to COVID). A couple days later, I placed batteries in all 4 lights and tightened them as tightly as I could without the risk of stripping the threads and installed the lights in the pool about a foot below the surface. The output of the lights was great. After about 2 weeks, I noticed condensation in 2 of the lights. Thinking I might have not tightened them enough, I took them out, let them air dry on the (enclosed) porch in the Florida heat for about a week. I wiped down the parts that I could, installed (new) batteries, applied a very light coating of water-safe jelly lubricant, and placed them back in the pool. The gel is a food-safe lubricant that I use for kitchen appliances and other water-contacted parts. This same lubricant has prevented other items from seeping.A couple weeks later, the same 2 had moisture inside. Now accepting that 2 lights will absorb moisture no matter what I try, I figured I have 2 others that still work. About a week after this, one additional has started to develop condensation inside. This leaves me out of the return period with 1 light that is functional after 2 months; an unacceptable 75% defect rate. Some small items of mention:*The suction cups are small and are probably more suited for small gifts children would make for the holidays.*The magnets are regular iron-based, not neodymium. I figured since these lights are intended for pool use, that the magnets would be made with neodymium to withstand the water movement. Nope, they do not compare. Even using my neodymium magnets with the installed ones, they held somewhere better than if I used iron to pair them. Also, they do not include the magnets for the outside of the pool, you have to provide your own.My recommendations for the manufacturer: install neodymium magnets in the lights, provide the matching outside magnets, use better o-rings, and ensure all areas are tightly sealed.

Great Pool Light
Quality made product. Works great at illuminating the pool with just 1 disc/light. I bought 4 of these not knowing how bright the lights would be but just one light is enough. The hard plastic case is water tight and durable. Only negative is the suction cups only work for a few hours. So if your looking for a light that you can leave in the pool continuously this isn't it, it lost suction and falls to bottom of pool. The magnets aren't really strong enough to hold its own weight. I have a vinyl liner inground pool so the wall surface is smooth. I'm very happy with the purchase of this product, maybe if the used bigger suction cups it would stay attached longer.

Work well...so far
My pool is an above ground 16'x32'. I bought 4 of these to try them out. They light up very well but 4 are not enough so I ordered 4 more.Pros:They are bright. Many different modes to choose fromThe remote works wellThey are very reasonable pricedMagnets seem to work well on the legs of Intext Ultra pool through the linerCons:Suction cups are worthless on textured liner. They dropped to the bottom of the pool, but stuck with magnetsAfter sitting on bottom of pool for 2 days there was moisture inside. I wrapped them in Flex Tape. Will try again.I wish they had a charging port for rechargeable batteries.I will update with pics and videos later.

Would be great if they didn't leak
Bought a 4 pack. Suction cups (1" diameter) would not stick to my pool wall but that's understandable since it is an aboveground pool with a vinyl liner that has some texture. Also would not stick to our plastic ladder which is smooth but has a very slight texture. Stuck well to the skimmer basket housing which is as smooth as glass. In this sense I would say they work as advertised- surface must be smooth as glass. We don't have any place to try the magnets. After submerging 3 for one day, one had leaked. Yes, I assembled it very tightly just like the other 2 that didn't leak. So this was disappointing. Remote works well. Lights are bright and have a nice selection of settings and colors. I just need to figure out how to attach them to the vinyl liner and ensure they don't leak.Update: After using 3 lights for night swimming only (1-2 hours a night for a few nights and removing them from the water between uses), another has started leaking. Now we are down to 2. I I wouldn't recommend these until the leaking issue is resolved. Other similar products have 2 seals. I'm considering trying those.

Make pool at night fun
We got these to light up our 12x24 above ground pool. The colors are nice and it make the pool look amazing at night. The magnet on back rusted a little already and left a mark on the pool liner. We then switched to use the suction cups, these don't stay in place as well. Think the one thing that would be nicer is that remote was a little stronger. You have to be right on top of the lights and sometimes even lift them out of water to get them to come on or change color.Over all pleased with this purchase

Belle lumière !
Nous sommes vraiment satisfaits, toutefois attention il faut vraiment bien serré pour ne pas avoir d'infiltration d'eau.

Weak remote signal. Difficult to turn on and off when they are in the water.
I put these in the shallow end (floor) of my concrete pool because the suction cups would not stick to the side of the pool wall. You have to stand right over the light in order for the remote to turn it on, which would be ok if there was only one light. I put 4 in the water on each corner of the pool and had to walk up to each one and point the remote directly at them from just above the water line. Sometimes they turned on and sometimes they did not. From what I can see the antenna is on the side of the lamp and needs to be facing up in order to have enough range.I guess if you have a vinyl liner pool they could be installed with the magnets on the wall closer to the top of the water line to have better reception. This is not an option for me.Waiting for approval from the vendor to return them.
