Honestly, I bought these to use for testing new designs that I make, figured at the price point it would be less painful when I inevitably throw out some of the failed designs or stems that have simply been reused too many times during experimenting.These actually surprised me with the quality as it is much better than I expected. There is, as usual, a bit of shedding at the cut points and they are not as sturdy as some so far as the fuzz pulling out, but they are not bad. They take a few rounds of reuse before the wire becomes too brittle and snaps in some places. As with ALL chenille steps, the cut ends are going to be sharp but that is a part of the way this product simply is - if you can't deal with a jab in the finger or a scratch now and again as you are working with them, then you need to do some other 'safer' craft.The image is of a new lizard design I have been working on and the stems took a lot of abuse and repeated bends/twists/tugging. All in all, I would recommend these.

What a wonderful selection of colors! I bought these for making Day of the Dead dioramas with my grandchildren and they worked out very well. I gave it a 4 because they were shorter than I anticipated. Guess I need to work on measurement. A great supply for the next few years. Worth every penny.

I buy these for my meetings/conferences. They're great for attendees to fidget with instead of looking zoned out. With 1000/box, it's enough for about 100 people to play with. At the end of the day, attendees can keep them without any worry from me. I also like that these are mixed up when they come in the box. I've seen others that keep the colors separated, which is more work for me to put out on tables.

When I first bought this they were listed as being 12 inches long, well they're not. I'm glad to see they are listed as 6 now. Also they aren't very nice really. The fuzz seems a little sparse. I'd say they are just ok and perfect for kids crafts. My wife uses them for making wreaths, they are a tad short but they do work.

I get pipe cleaners to use during my soft skills training classes. Believe it or not, adults need something to keep their hands busy or they want to pull out their phones during class.It came with a wide assortment of colors and they are good enough quality for the "crafty" icebreakers we play and the creations the class likes to make.Great deal!

This are really short. I didn't measure, but about 6 inches. Yes, if I had read every line of the description I would have seen this. But I didn't even know that pipe cleaners came in short sizes. I've never seen short ones before, and I'm 38 years old with 5 kids, who have all played with pipe cleaners! It would have been nice if that info was in the name of the product. It reminds me of a story of 2 little boys who sold worms to their neighbor for her lawn. She paid them 25 cents per worm. Then they discovered they could cut them in half and get twice as much per worm that way. Nevermind that worms take time to recover and may die before being able to dig themselves into the dirt where its safe for them.....

This is a great product and each piece is full and thick. I put these on the tables at our Christmas party. A lot of the quests were engineers. I couldn't believe all the things they made with them! It was fun and cheap entertainment,

Fast shipping, these are perfect for what I needed them for. I took away a star because the color variety was a little limited, mostly red, black and blue. No yellow, orange, light brown or light blue.
