Genuine DYSON DC41 Bottom Internal Hose 920682-01

Just like others on Youtube, the original part on my Dyson had become dry and cracked so it was reducing the vacuum to the floor head. Replacing this short hose was relatively easy BUT you will need to have the right tools as the screws are star head and are somewhat deep in the housing of the vacuum.The quality of the hose is great and swapping it was not too bad. Make sure you watch some videos and you'll be OK in getting this part replaced. Vacuum really "sucks" now.

I’m normally fairly handy. I did find a good YouTube video but this was a tricky fix that required a tool we shockingly didn’t own (only like $8 but still surprising) and much more time than i expected. While doing this I did replace all my filters since my machine is roughly 10 years old but it runs like new now! Part looks so similar to the original.

Good part. fits perfectly. not too hard to put in. Pretty easy to install you should look at YouTube to find a video on how to put it in though.

For anyone unsure, this part does indeed fit the Animal Ball 2 or UP20, the only difference is that the ring is red instead of grey on mine.Confirmed the product came in a genuine Dyson product box and had the Dyson stamps on the part itself. No, the part isn't twisted due to a defect like some claim - it's made that way because of the spring inside of it, confirmed against the original part that was removed from the vacuum. Found a decent repair video on YouTube and I was able to fix this myself, you will need a Torx T8 and T10 driver for the repair if you don't already have them.
