Came well packaged, easy to work with simple instruction book. Ideal size not too big and makes lovely coffee. Ideal with the hot plate to keep coffee warm. Would recommend.

Very basic, very practical, easy to use

This is a very simple filter coffee machine. Simply put freshly ground coffee beans to your own taste level into the permanent filter, pour sufficient fresh water into the reservoir and press the on off switch.In just a few minutes you can enjoy perfectly brewed filter coffee. What's not to like! Recommended.

I wish I had bought this before. Makes great coffee - used at least once a day since it was delivered 3 weeks ago. I do hope it lasts a long time.

I went to take the coffee machine out of the box. The jug fell and it broke into the smallest parts. If it was strong glass it should never have broken. Please avoid. If the jug had have been full of coffee I would have been scalded and my floor and furniture destroyed. The Hugo’s not fit for purpose.

It looks good, makes coffee well. If the inbuilt filter is used there is sludge at the bottom of the cup when finished. If a filter paper is added it stops the sludge the the coffee flavour is not so intense. The machine needs to be dry for it to make less noise. This means the lid on the machine has to be lifted and left overnight really. The lid on the coffee jug also has to be removed to be cleaned. It doesn't say that in the instructions but it would get in the way in a dishwasher and in the first 3 weeks of owning the coffee machine I washed the jug without removing the lid and it toppled on the draining board, just sideways, not on the floor, and smashed! A new jug £10! plus postage. Probably wouldn't buy another if this one breaks
