Just love this brand of chocolate. I have switched to this and will never go back to Hersey's again. (Another company that sold out to someone else and their chocolate went downhill.) Thankfully, there is Scharffen Berger 100% Cacao Unsweetened Dark Chocolate Cocoa Powder. Try it and you will love the wonderful rich chocolate flavor!

I use this every morning mixed in with protein powder. It adds a rich chocolate flavor to the shake. I’m sure it would do the same for baking. Just keep in mind, it is unsweetened. I’ve ordered it many times and it’s come from different sellers. The quality and freshness can vary. This order was very fresh, some of the best I’ve had. It arrived quickly and was packaged well.

Best cocoa on the market. You must make Spicy Chocolate Sheet Cake with Dr. Pepper. It’s a fudge icing and a real party hit. I put salted candied pecans on top right after putting icing on. It’s an old Texas recipe made for gatherings. This Cocoa is the best in the recipe.

This cocoa powder is the best of the best. I use it to sprinkle on my morning cappuccinos that I make at home and it's a game changer. The flavor is strong, there's no added sugar, and it's just pure chocolate flavor. I will never buy any other brand, this is the best, and you get what you pay for. Yes, it's expensive and the container is small, but it's worth every penny.

I needed this to make a flourless chocolate cake for my son's birthday. I used the King Arthur Flour recipe than I found online. Strange that a flour company would have a recipe for flourless cake. The recipe does call for espresso powder and King Arthur does sell that. I used this wonderful smelling cocoa powder and came out with a small, but fabulous cake. This product is wonderful and I am going to be buying more---and baking more.

I have always liked Scharffen Berger products. I used the chocolate bars all the time while baking. I have never had the cocoa powder before so this was a first time. I used this cocoa to make my standard hot chocolate which came out well. Not super rich as I had hoped but it came out good. I also made a chocolate mint cake with it which turned out fantastic. The chocolate flavor was spot on. I think the use of coffee really enhanced it. I liked this cocoa and I may buy again. I will continue buying the chocolate bars for baking.

Scharffen Berger makes excellent chocolate products. I’ve been buying their bars and their sweetened cocoa powder for years – the sweetened powder makes terrific hot chocolate. I recently took my dream baking class – baking with chocolate – where the school recommended using Scharffen Berger unsweetened natural cocoa powder for baking, and our results were delicious. We used it in cupcakes, frosting, and chocolate tart dough, and for dusting truffles. I had to buy some for when I reproduced the recipes at home.
