I like it when high school romances do a trip because it takes the characters out of the school settings that we see so often. So while there are no tutoring shenanigans in this volume, Utsugi develops as he tries to get the most of the trip by trying to enjoy it with the girls. His relationships with Nino and Ichika develop quite a bit here, the former of which will be important maybe 2 volumes into the future. I ended up getting this before the relevant episodes came out, which led me to coloring some manga panels of a certain campfire scene and then comparing it to how the anime showed it off.

Oh, are the quints ever so cute! All adorable. And we get a future glimpse of... a wedding for Futaro & one of the quints?!?! And now, they all five have declared their desire for the lad. Who will be the one Futaro sweeps off her feet? We've got 10 more volumes to go, so anything goes, & it's every girl for herself! Art, excellent. Dialogue, very touching at times, very nice. Characters, believable, likeable, relatable, & in the quint's places, so gosh darn adorable!

This Vol contains most of the final 3-4ish episodes of Season 1. Focusing mostly on the camp fire trip and the legend that couples who held hands at the end of the fireworks will be married. Fun and cute arc with most of the character development spent on Miku, Ichika and Itsuki. Lots of great panels as well.

Love the book ! Only problem was some pages came bigger then the normal size but other then that it’s grest I don’t mind that little problem. Great front cover of Miku. Manga it’s self is the best love Negi sensei Work. Looking forward to buying vol 5

I’ve gotten into comics so I wanted to read this and it was very good. Might have to get all of them now. Get it!!

Continues to be endearing and humorous. Carries good character development and isn't egregiously lewd. I very much recommend this series.

With the six on the their school camping trip, we see them adjust to share a room together as well as Dutaro and Ichika have an interesting time alone. Later, they all go skiing in the snow and a surprising development for the girls and their relationship with Futaro occurs. We also get another glimpse of the future wedding. <b>A- (91%/Excellent)</b>

This arc in the story really brings on the excitement and reveals a lot about the characters as well as adding more mystery.
