Rosie’s home
This cage is phenomenal. When I first adopted my hamster Rosie, I got one of the cheaper cages that looked good in pictures, but was definitely a cat fish. Rosie loves this cage and so do I. Yes it is smaller, but it is not small. What I also love about it is that this cage is expandable. The manufacturer even included parts to help connect different manufacturers products to this one. I am really interested. My hamster loves climbing the cage, and unlike the other cage that was big but just tall empty space, she can climb on the cage and does not need to worry about falling, although, that was more so me worrying than her. The water bottle is very tall, making it need to be filled less frequently. The only small thing I would suggest for easier daily use is since the door is in on the top of the cage part, sometimes it can be difficult to maneuver my hand in the cage to let Rosie out. Arguably though that is a benefit since I don’t have to worry about Rosie somehow figuring a way out of the cage. I’m honestly considering getting another one of these cages just to connect to the one I have, Rosie loves this cage. (Rosie is a Large Short Hair Syrian Hamster)

Nice 3 levels
SO...this is our 1st hamster....I spent days & days researching cages, who knew they needed so much room!...Heres what we like about it: definitely the 3 levels, gives Luko a lot of room to play.Luko is a Teddy Bear & I planned on buying a smaller hamster, but santa bought the cage before Luko was picked. At 1st he stayed on the 1st 2 levels, after having him 3 days we put him on the top level, now he runs back & forth. He started sleeping in the bottom house, then to the top house which we call his " apartment". Its great that there is so much room in the " basement for his bedding. The quality of the items that came with it overall is well made. We love the clear top makes it so easy to watch him. We have added a sand bath, plenty of room in the cage to add things. Has been easy to clean. The ladders have a good tread so Luko isnt slipping. There is room to put a larger wheel on the bottom. We like that its set up to add additional tubes, which we plan to add soon.Cage is light weight,so our 7 yr old can pick it up and move around. We have it sitting on top of a med size tote that we keep food & supplies in,plus it has Luko sitting up higher so we can easily watch him play.CONS: the wheels definitely are not big enough for teddy bear,1 already cracked. We had to use a rubber band to keep water bottle from slipping. We are extra careful in taking apart the cage when we do full weekly cleaning.Hoping the plastic holds up long term ,not concerned with the metal area,it is sturdy enough. Us adults take it apart & put back together as if we would have had 7 yr old do it,it would have already cracked,so BEWARE if you plan to have your little ones do most of this( he cleans, drys pcs, puts in food etc) Do wish the metal door was wider to take Luko in and out.Be careful unscrewing the wheels when you clean, the screw in bottom wheel already slightly cracked, its hard to get your hand in to put back on.Keep in mind there is not enough room on top to put a larger wheel.Overall we are very pleased with this cage. So glad we did not select a smaller cage. Originally my husband wanted to buy smaller & add to it,but Im glad we did not as it would have taken up too much floor space. With this cage being a triple decker works & adding more tubes will not require add floor space.

perfect!!! love love love :)))
The media could not be loaded. This cage is perfect for my 2 mice!! It was easy to assemble and have plenty of room for both of them! the water bottle dose not leak and my wheel spins smooth :)) i couldn’t be happier with it!And no, the mice can not fit between the bars (that was my biggest concern)Love it !!1 week update!!! still a perfect cage :) no drips in the bottle and everything still moves smooth :) ps… the water bottle also has measurements on it so you can keep track of the water intake :) Thank you Midwest Homes for Pets / Critterville Arcade!!!! ❤️ my mice love it so so much

Cheaply made- only suitable for dwarf hamsters
One of the pieces was faulty, so part of the security of keeping the cage together is entirely missing. The water bottle leaks like crazy (no rubber ring inside bottle)Set up is not easy. Took about an hour. Hamster does not use running wheel which is unlike them. There's not much room in front of the wheel in order for it to be used. You get what you pay for. Was able to add some of my own accessories, just beware you will break your nails.

Quality made. Lots of cleaning.
Really cool concept but as a parent a massive pain to clean. Hamster seems to prefer to pee and poop in the upstairs. So it gets gross quick. Good quality product.

Great cage for a dwarf hamster!
We bought this cage for my son’s dwarf hamster. The little girl is a bit of an escape artist, and the cage we first bought at the pet store had bars just far enough apart that she could sneak out. We found this one, loved how affordable it was, and all of the parts it came with. This cage has so far proven to be inescapable. We love that she has so many levels to explore, and have so much fun watching her through the plastic. Even the dog sits there and watches her run around on her wheel! It’s also really easy to clean, the upper part we just clean with a baby wipe, and easily dump the litter from the bottom. It might not be big enough of a cage for a larger hamster, but it’s the perfect size for our little Luna!

A little tricky, maybe a little small for a big boy
It did come with pretty good instructions, although I failed to recognize some of the "pegs" on the ramps and cozy spot, those are little nubs that fit onto the cage slots in the top. The main nuts to hold the back on were pressure fit and I'm a little older and it was a little hard for me. But once the back was on the rest of assembly went fairly quickly. The image in the ad showed a Syrian hamster in it, but maybe my boy is just big. I think he has enough space. He does fit up the tube just fine. Today was day one, so, we shall see how it goes. I think it's nicely put together and feels sturdy and secure. Hard to escape from. Which is a good thing. The cat is taking notes for me. I like the way the water bottle fits snugly so no more rattling when he drinks. Overall I think it was very nice for the price.
