Great Rocket but I received a Used Kit
Upon opening and inventorying the parts for this rocket, I found that someone already attempted this kit and probably returned it. The motor mount already had cuts in it from a previous builder who apparently “gave up.” Also, I did not receive the cords needed for the two parachutes. Fortunately, rather than return the kit, I have experience in building rockets and furnished my own Kevlar parachute cords, and 3d printed a new motor mount. I knew something was up when I received the kit in a plain plastic bag without any labels, etc. as opposed to from a new unopened bag.The rocket did fly well as expected only because I had to source missing parts from years of experience.

Delivery was great. However
Ordered four rockets for students as part of our STEM Club. Needed immediately since I had more sign up. Delivery was great. However, one rocket packet was missing pieces and rendered it useless. Needed the bag of parts and string to make the rocket complete.

Decent Eggloft Kit for younger builders
I've been involved in rocketry for over 25 years and run a rocketry club for kids. There aren't many eggloft kits on the market. And out of 4 possible kits, this is one of two we decided to try. Unlike the other kit we received (from Custom Rocketry), this is a "full" sized rocket using a B/C engine mount into a larger body tube. I think this is better for younger kids because the parts are larger. The kit includes laser cut fins to further ease construction. Two complaints. The first is the nose cone. It comes as a single piece which must be cut to allow an egg to be inserted. Cutting requires some precision and if you get off the line, you ruin the nose cone. Even assuming this is done correctly, the fit between the top and bottom of the nose cone is pretty loose. Their instructions say to use electrical tape to keep the parts together. Not a particularly good design in my mind. I'll be installing some small nuts and bolts to hold it together. Also, the engine tube is very thin with no hardened coating like a body tube and is easy to bend the edge of during construction. My student and I added a thick layer of glue in the bottom of the rocket to help prevent damage when inserting/removing engines. This model does include 2 parachutes leaving the body to return separate from the nose cone (and egg). If the nose cone and engine tube issue were impoved, I'd give this a 5 star rating.

Egg lifiting super-fun rocket
To really impress your friends, launch a raw egg in this rocket, and get it back unbroken! This is a crowd favorite at any of my outreach launch demonstrations. (Especially the kid-2-kid egg toss after the flight to prove the egg is raw.) This rocket kit is one of the easiest to build egg-carriers on the market. It will fly on really small fields with a B6-2 size motor, and impresses best when flown on the C6-3. It is a very good group project type rocket, for 4H, YMCA, schools and scouts. And it can be used as a training round for any of the TARC contest teams (Team America Rocketry Challenge) or other groups out there. It will teach basic assembly skills, and instills correct flight preparation technique. And you can serve brunch after flying with and egg-stronaut omelet.
