Cassida Advantec 75 Heavy Duty Bill Counter, 4 Speeds

I went through the reviews of just about every bill counter in this price range there was before picking this one. It works flawlessly and very fast. It has reduced the time necessary to check up dramatically.I did discover one thing; however, if I had it to do again, I would not have gotten the counterfeit bill detector feature. When you are checking up, it is too late to do anything about receiving a phony bill. Your cashiers are the fist line of defense for bad money, after that, the bank will kick it out for you.The machine trying to find phony bills for you is just a nuisance and can trip you up. For one, it is more likely to be a worn or torn bill that a fake one. The machine stops and expects you to pull the bad bill out of the receiving trey, then push the button for it to keep counting. You then have to remember that the actual count is one more than what the counter shows, because the bill counter deducts for what it thinks is a bad bill.Thus, I could have saved myself some money if I didn't get one of the units with counterfeit bill detection. It would have worked better at what I want it to do ... count ... and not had to waste any time on trying to detect bad money.

Had it for a year. It has a mood of its own. U put on stack of currency and it counts it without problems, then you put another stack and the counting process takes you hell and back. Specially if you are in rush it is guaranteed to give you problems. I just purchased another brand of counter fro amazon and am dumping this unit. My advise don’t buy this or any Cassidy’s counter. It is guaranteed to leave you hanging.

Initially I was skeptical about buying this product but people's reviews convinced me. It is an excellent bill counter! It arrived as scheduled.I tested the product at first and I had a persistent 'dbL' error i.e double bill even though the actual bill was just single. It was a fairly dirty bill of course.I wrote the support team [email protected] and get the setting right for the problematic bill. The "dbL' sensitivity was reduced to 1 and the problem solved at once.From my test, accuracy is 99.5%, but if you have all good bills in the hopper then the accuracy is 100% no doubt about that.If you have the same problem as I had, follow this simple procedure:• Press BATCH while turning on the machine.• Repeatedly press BATCH until “dbL” is displayed. Use the up/down arrow keys to change the “dbL” setting to “1” (factory setting should be “2”.• Press START to save the new setting• Use the BATCH button to cycle through the settings until “dbL” is again displayed – confirm the new setting.• Turn off the machine, then turn back on.• Try your problematic bill.The counterfeit detection works fine too.

This is a basic bill counter. The machine is sturdy, fast and accurate. Basic features make using this machine a cinch. Good value.

I returned this item because it would have errors ever other count. The sound it makes is very unsettling. It has more features but it is a downgrade from counting quality. Very embarrassing using it in front of clients. Also i returned it to UPS drop off before the cut off dat and return status does not state anything

the bills get stuck and it is not always accurate. you still need a calculator to multiply to get the actual total of the bills. you can not combine any other bills.

This machine has been a solid work horse for the last several months. For the price, and for the time it saves me counting bills manually, can't beat it. Of course, more expensive machines have more features, but the only thing this counter doesn't do is do batches of 5 bills. (For change boxes). Does 10, 15, 25, 50, but not 5.Other than that, it works fine.

I am disappointed with this purchase. It does count the number of bills correctly, but does not total the amounts. Still must use calculator to figure out the dollar amount of all bills except ones. I still have to sort 1s, 5s, 10s, 20s, 50s, and 100 dollar bills and then multiply count numbers of each and then add these amounts to get total dollar amount. It will count out and stop at what ever batch number you select. Probably handy if you are banding bills. I don't know if it will find counterfeit bills yet, but I am disappointed that it does not check 3 ways as advertised, only checks 2 ways. It does seam to be built well, but a basic bill counter would have worked fine for my needs.

The company customer service is terrible and the machine is worth it is a hit and miss I rather count by hand

This machine jams more often then not leaving me to count by hand in the end.It's a real treat when it does work though, but sadly, that's just a very rare occurrence.
