The brackets could be less flimsy and stronger, but do the job so far. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good protective cord - But doesn't stay on *by G***F on 23 June 2025* I purchased this cord wrap in October 2024 to protect the fraying cloth cord of my steam iron. The cord length was ample, which was a plus. It comes with a single securing tag, and I initially thought I'd lost one when I opened the package. Unfortunately, during normal use, the cord tends to slide down, as the provided tag doesn't hold it securely in place. I've also found the width of the cord is a bit too narrow, meaning it doesn't overlap when wrapped. This causes it to come loose and separate from the iron's cord, requiring me to rewrap it frequently. I've had to use additional Velcro ties, kept slightly loose to allow for stretch, to keep it securely on the cord. Suggested improvements to supplier Increase the width of the cord wrap to allow for sufficient overlap when wrapped. Include additional Velcro or suitable ties to help secure the wrap to the cord. I'm providing this review in June 2025, after having a good amount of practical use with this cover. It's really important that this cover fits well, as some setups might have the cable or steam pipe exposed, which can get hot.
