Our builder didn't give us enough wing nuts to secure all of our hurricane shutters. Who would ever think to count their washers with a brand new house. We also didn't think we would ever use our hurricane shutters either. Ian proved us wrong. If we ever need our shutters again, these wing nuts fit our shutters and will secure them.

These are not heavy duty. I used them and the wings broke off 1/3 of them on removal. Cheaply made

I had misplaced the wingnuts to put up my hurricane shutters. Naturally after receipt of these I found the ones misplaced. These are identical to original ones.

These are a great value! I was worried that because they were cast, the threads might be irregular. They work perfectly, are easier to keep up with than a separate nut and washer, and the threads appear to be tapped so they are very smooth. No problem attaching to or removing from the hanger bolt!

When you have a hurricane heading your way and your builder is an idiot and doesn't pack enough hardware for your hurricane shutters you will be forever grateful for getting a rush on these so you can properly protect your home.Worked perfectly for us.

Bought these for my panels after Hurricane Irma. For a while you couldn't find these at any hardware store in south Florida. Solidly made and at a good price.

Best price for exactly what I wanted. They were as represented, stainless steel 1/4x20 wing nuts with washer base.
