Works great!
This is great weatherstrip but it took me a little bit to learn the trick for installing it. The same pliancy that enables it to seal so well creates a difficult install at first. The kerf on my door was poorly set up and ended up hiding a ledge that was slightly recessed behind the bulb. This made it difficult to align the tab with the kerf. The solution was to hold a rigid piece of material that matched the ledge thickness ( in my case 1/4" thick bar stock) against the jamb so the tab had a straight path into the kerf. The other trick is to wet the kerf and the rubber with water. Then the seal can be inserted with a 1" putty knife or something similar (do not use a putty chisel) by compressing the bulb in order to press against the upper edge of the tab strip. Then just work your way along the length of the seal. It stays where you put it, remains pliant in cold weather, and seals well. It is easy to cut to length with household scissors.

Painful to install
It seems like these silicone door seals might work well - once you get them installed. Getting the very flexible fins into the slots was very difficult - as many other reviews have pointed out. What worked for me was lots of sliding and wiggling. Slipping the tab in with small motions back and forth. Straight pressure does not work. Lubrication with a little liquid soap helped a bit. I think I'll stick with the more traditional seals with the harder plastic fins - those just pop right in.

Kerf could be more durable
Would be a 5 star if the kerf was of a more durable material other than silicone. Tears easily and is slow to install since it tears with moderate force applied.

Don’t pass by because of my review
I only give this review because it didn’t work for our sliding door, that we don’t use in wintertime, it may work for other areas. We live on a boat so this may make a difference. I will try to repurpose this.

Kerf is super flemsy
The kerf is so thin/floppy that there is no way to install. I've done commercial construction, professionally, and I ended up on giving up on this product after several attempts to install (and even modify it) failed. If you are attempting to install this in the kerf cut on a standard door frame, it will not work... trust me.

Too soft to get in my kerf cut
I was excited to find this as I have a round top front door and can never find suitable weather-stripping to fit my door at the big box stores. This looks like it was going to work for the kerf cut on my door and was the correct size. The issue is there is no rigidity to the kerf so I was unable to get it in the kerf cut. Wanted to love, but ended up returning. Return process was easy.

Needs modification
Good seal works great after a slight modification as it is very difficult to install into existing door kerf.I removed center rib with very pointy scissors once removed works fine.

A cut above similar products
What differentiates this weatherstripping from others I have used is the stiffer material used on the barb flange, making it more secure and easier to install.
