Bought for my pond skimmer basket as too much of the finer leaves and duckweed were being pulled through the basket and pump and put back in to circulation. Attempts to use fine nets or cut tights failed as they often got pulled in to the pump but these stay put due to the wide elastic band at top. Whilst I was concerned that the tight knit on these socks would limit the water flow thourgh them, it doesn't appear to affect it too much or at least until the sock is clogged and needing emptied or cleaned. Overall a good product for the money and has saved me time in trying to make DIY equivalents. Product size is 13cm wide by 20cm deep but can stretch to 30cm wide so would fit up to an 18cm diameter basket at full stretch.

Great product, collects far more finer particles and stops them from reaching the filter. Essential buy no but worth having if you have a few spare pounds, may make your filter last longer (though that's just my view)

Great product, Prevents all small items from getting into sand filter. Highly recommend it. Will be buying another pack again soon.

The product disintegrated overnight.I think it was due to the chlorine tablets being placed in sock inside basket.Positioned chlorine tablets in basket, then fitted sock over the top. Refitted basket.Sock did not disintegrate overnight.Might be worth advising customers of problem.

I use these when hoovering my pool and it catches so so much more dirt! I've also placed one on the inlet basket to the pump. Result my pump last longer before having to backwash and clean

These work very well. Fits my intex skimmer perfectly
