I bought the first starter set of this brilliant toy when my son was 2. I expanded with a car set, and we've taken them with us on nearly every flight we've gone on. He loves them, and so do I, so I bought this set. He's now 3 1/2 and really interested in cogs and pulleys, and I thought this would be the perfect next step. We've only had it for a day, and although it's a little beyond his skill, I can already tell he's going to grow into this quickly and take off with creative construction ideas. I love the creativity, flexibility, and learning in this toy. I wanted it to be one of our staple sets alongside the picasso tiles and legos, and will definitely be adding more to be able to build even more.

Our son plays with and loves Brackitz at his daycare so we were excited to purchase some for home. We bought two different versions, this being one of them. Our son is 3 years old and we ultimately decided that this kit was a bit above his skill set at this time. When coupled with another set that has more basic pieces, it becomes a little easier for him to use and we look forward to him growing into it. The box that comes with this set makes it worth it. It keeps all of the pieces organized.

Our granddaughter loves these blocks! And the carrying case is nice, also. This is the first item she goes to play with. Very durable and colorful.
